Also, we have experinced the same, miscarriage and then got pregenant again with success. We feel blessed that our daughter is now 2 and 1/2 years old very strong and healthy. Congratz!! I am super happy for you. I went thru something similar and went thru years of secondary infertility and my first daughter was almost 5 when the second one was born and I was 38! I call her my miracle baby.

I understand what you’re going through. I had Bell’s Palsy too and it took me 8+ months to get better, but I still have lingering effects, especially when I’m tired. It’s really funny now just how excited I was when I could finally spit okay when brushing my teeth or drink a glass of water without a straw. Missed you!

Girl! I will pray for your fully restored health! What a journey this was for you. I could certainly related with a few things and had my own tears while watching. A pregnancy test after a miscarriage is hard, as is the pregnancy itself since you’re not wanting to be crushed again. Age gap, I found #2 to be so much easier than #1 because I now had experience and a very willing helper! However #3 meant that I didn’t have a hand for each child and we were outnumbered. Get your rest, eat nourishing food, and cuddle with your sweethearts.

Thanks for your encouraging and heartfelt message. Yes, the feeling of not wanting to be crushed is real...hence our weird non-reaction to the test the 2nd time around. I find the age gap to be so nice too. Baby is here now and we are doing well as a family of 4! Lincoln is such a sweet older brother and pretty self sufficient, so it's been easier than expected. I can't speak for being outnumbered though...I'm sure that's a whole other experience!

Except for the Bell's Palsy, i have experienced everything you talked about here, plus premature birth of twins (1 died after 4 days and the other was in the NICU for 2 and a half months before we could bring him home). But...this too shall pass, and now i'm in my 60's with 3 grown children that i am very proud of! My heart feels for you and Joe and i will include you in my thoughts and prayers from now on. Julie, if you just filmed yourself cooking for yourself, we would watch it. If you just want to go thrift shopping, we will watch it. If you want to sit around and talk with Joe, we will watch it! I cannot afford any memberships or things like that, so i'll have to hope you keep posting to KZbin, and i CAN'T WAIT TO SEE THE GENDER REVEAL VIDEO... (I'm hoping it's a girl, but that nausea...). Your face is fine, go anywhere and do anything you want, you and Joe made a beautiful and wonderful family.
