Party City was better before 2015 in my opinion. 2018 and after were really decent, but not as good as the early 2000’s. Still sad to see them go

My son has worked at big lots for 10 years and now he is not going to be making any money I doubt any body will be as great as big lots

Party City CA basically survived because it’s a separate entity from the US counterpart, so their locations aren’t really closing down.

I believe Party City CA also owns Canadian Tire, so that's also a huge help to them.

I liked Pick n' Save, before it became "Big Lots." Was this another conglomerate buying an established company, then filling the key management positions with people who have no expertise in that type of business, and then proceed to run it into the ground? (I believe this happened to K-Mart, Hornsby's, Zayre, Spurgeon, and more...).
