I have both Elite Active and Elite Pro and I am very happy to use them with my computer and Iphone connected at the same time. I think Jabra is one of the best, if not the best, brands working with earbuds at the moment. Nice video as always my friend!!!!

Thanks for the informative video. After watching your video I believe the Evolve2's are a complete waste of money with it's non - existent ANC and it's just ok mic quality and sound. I can get most everything these buds have to offer with BETTER anc at the 50 to 100 dollar price point. With so many companies like Soundcore, Tozo, 1more and Earfun offering so much more for so much less there is no way I can reconcile purchasing these earbuds. So thanks again for supplying all the info I need to make this choice.

Very good review! Thank you! I suppose that dongle is maid to have better connection while being farther from PC(it is even written on Jabra web site that it should have good connection within 20 metres out from PC). So it would be great if you read & tested that, but not only staying close to the sound source. Also I think that surrounding noise can’t be synthetic as in reality it comes out from 360° around you, but not only from 1 source. Would be great if there was transparency test. !!! That would be also a great and useful feature that would differ your reviews from the rest if you could add to your videos comparison for current reviewed buds to the best for your opinion in each category( I mean you compare 2 Jabra earbuds in noisy or quiet room, so you add in addition the best in this category Sony for noisy room and Apple for quiet conditions) Wind cancelling noise, ANC, and music sound test/ comparison was great 👍🏼 and it shocked me because it seems that it is the same Elite 7Pro, but with the dongle for greater distance work from sound source and qi charge box. Maybe they will fix it with the software update. Otherwise it is very very strange not to use better existing settings for newer and more expensive product.

Thanks for the review! Great job! I own a pair of Elite 7 Pros and they are fantastic when connected to my phone. However, when I connect them to my PC, the microphone noise cancelation is very bad compared to my phone. Do you know if the Link 380 can improve this?

Hello my friend love your videos got the jabra elite 7 active thanks to you, one ask is there a possibility of you making 60 frames per second videos as the smoothnes makes your videos even better and makes the motion as good as your audio cheers
@waitandhope Жыл бұрын
I returned my 7 pros, the reason being multipoint was kinda messed up. Whenever 2 devices were connected and I switched between them the left airbud would have a delay of 1-2 seconds before it worked with sound. Not a huge deal but I couldn't fix it and hearing notifications in just my right earbud sucked. It seemed like the right is a master sending a signal to the left since you can't pair using separate blutooth signals. Makes sense but whatever was going on the left one didn't pickup for 1-2 seconds after audio began.

Thanks for this. I'm primarily purchasing a few Evolve2 Earbuds for MS Teams with Voice at work, and this is exactly the feature I need. We'll likely have folks connected to a desktop PC via Link 380 and potentially connected to their smartphones as well. Cheers.

The active noise cancelling is a bug I’ve been told. The min to max doesn’t work. It’s literally just doing minimum +1. PS. As a business, they are £170 👍

I got this figured out now since I myself tested a lot of Jabra earbuds recently (4, 5, 7 all models and some of Sony and Samsung of which I can recommend Linkbuds S for great music quality and kinda OK call quality with horrible battery life). But I'll write here about Jabra. Call quality: BEST: Jabra Elite 5 and Jabra Connect 5T (take what is cheaper because both are the same). I mean those are better than anything I ever used (and I used classics like Plantronics Edge, Legend, 3200, 5200). It's whole different experience to talk via Elite 5 than with anything else (Airpods included) WORST: Jabra Elite 7 Pro (huge surprise here!) Music: BEST: Jabra Elite 4 Active (even biggest surprise) WORST: Jabra Elite 5 (that's the downside of having those... music quality is only OK) Battery: All er VERY good but Elite 5 er just incredible.

I bought a Jabra Evolve2 buds, but people on the other end cannot hear me, or my sound is too low to be heard, neither by phone nor thought PC Teams. Do you have any experience on such situation?

Help....love your reviews but i have hit a wall. Was interested in the Sony XM5 and Jabra Elite 10 bids but want something i can also use on MS Teams. Is one better than the other for Teams calls/connectivity? I like good soumd but not an audiophile but need to have meetings with reliable connection

Hi...can you please make a comparison video between jabra elite 5 and sony link buds S...and suggest which one's to buy?
@MikeAkerfeldt Жыл бұрын
I tried both earbuds and ended up returning the linkbuds S. There is nothing so special about the Linkbuds S in my opinion. Both earbuds are nice in terms of sound but do not expect very high volumes if you like very loud music like myself. Elite 5 is even a bit louder. Both earbuds support multi-point connection but the Elite 5 has wireless charging capability and the microphones are better in terms of calling or for meetings when connected to a PC. Elite 5 is a clear winner in my opinion.

@@MikeAkerfeldt I've always wondered what people were listening to, or through which app, because I've never had a problem with my earbuds being too quiet, for music I have them at 6-7/15 most of the time on my Xiaomi.

@felixrr7381 it's all about the expectations but loud music is important for me as well as crystal clear calls. The last pair I got was the Soundcore Air 4 which is really decent, has all the features and can be tweaked to go really loud.

The dongle is more so for reducing latency (for me) that being said, these are almost the worst earbuds I've used. Elite 7 Pro are better (with more lag...might actually try and and pair them with this dongle) It's disappointing how bad the ANC is, how non existent the voice isolation is, and the teams version literally stops you from customising buttons as freely as I guess the UC version. Worst product I've bought (well maybe not as bad as pixel buds pro)
@JT-qb6vf Жыл бұрын
The lag was very noticeable without the dongle
@iseptimus Жыл бұрын
The point of the USB-C dongle is for MS Teams certification and does provide extra function you won’t get with the phone app. The UC version of the headset is pointless.

The Teams have a software built in to support the noise cancelling, could say that between the 7 Pro and Evolve 2 Bud there is no difference? Tks and congrats for the video.

the fact that you can pair the dongle with any other wireless earbuds makes it amazing value - if you connected earbuds via bluetooth to your PC and try to use them for things like discord, they go in hands free mode, really low quality, but with the dongle this doesn't happen!!!
@tolosac Жыл бұрын
Is it possible to activate or deactivate the microphone in a Teams call directly from the earbuds without having to use the laptop keyboard? I have searched the entire market and have not been able to find information on earbuds that can do this (my airpods pro cannot do it). Thank you.
