Big MISTAKE With a Televue Ethos 6mm Eyepiece

After purchasing a 6mm Televue Ethos 100º Eyepiece for my telescope observations i got into trouble and it wasn't an easy task to find the issue. This happened to me but can happen to you as well therefore, caution!

This is the proof, that small dust particles and small scratches on the eyepiece do nothing to the view. If you could see anything (blurred, but you could) through white milky plastic covering all the lens, then small imperfection has literally no influence on the view. Very good video 👍

That was hysterical. I was worried you aimed it at the sun or something. I have a cap I put over the inside of the focuser to laser collimate and have forgot to take it off more than once and wondered why everything is so dim.
