This is the proof, that small dust particles and small scratches on the eyepiece do nothing to the view. If you could see anything (blurred, but you could) through white milky plastic covering all the lens, then small imperfection has literally no influence on the view. Very good video 👍

That was hysterical. I was worried you aimed it at the sun or something. I have a cap I put over the inside of the focuser to laser collimate and have forgot to take it off more than once and wondered why everything is so dim.

Oh that one inside the focuser it's likely to be forgotten for sure ahah

Hello Tiago, planning to get a 10' dob, but I don't want to mess with expensive coma Corrector''s, and want a high quality 68 or 82 degree wide field DSO eyepiece. Am I out of luck? Some people recommend the APM 30mm 70 degree, it's made in China, makes me wonder if it'd worth that much, or spend couple more for a ES or even more for a Tele Vue, but without Coma Corrector, what would be your advise in this situation?
@DobsonianPower2 ай бұрын
All about budget. Televue first, then ES then APM. I usually recommend the ES because they are not so expensive and we are almost at black friday ;)

Once I Was trying to align my lx200 and my scope seemed completely lost. I tried different alignment stars, re-entered my coordinates etc... I finally turned the lights on and immediately saw my mistake...I had somehow changed the hemisphere to the southern hemisphere. DUH !
