I think we're exactly the same age. I grew up in Vancouver and spent 2 years in London (94-96) before uni, so it was an odd mirror-experience watching this and knowing all your feelings and memories of that time in your life are tied up in the place I grew up, where all of mine are tied up in the UK. Anyway, nice. I miss the UK. Everyone was always shocked when I told them I was from Vancouver and I moved there. Most common reaction: "WHY?!" But the appeals of the place are very different and the cultural differences in that Goldilocks zone of 'just right' - foreign, but not so foreign you feel like an alien.

Incredible isn’t it! I like it’s 70s/80s vibe but still modern fit. So good.

was expecting a continuity announcer to come on during the credits cus' it were like proper telly yknow' what I mean. Much better than last night's offering on Terrestrial TV at the same time of: Comedians watching football, News at Ten, Lee And Dean, Gogglebox and Jonathan Woss

Aw, thanks James. I loved making it and would like to do more things like this. Only problem is it took the best part of a week to edit. Incidentally Dan Trelfer who explains things in my videos sometimes worked on Comedians Watching Football so I’ll be sending him this comment immediately. Thanks!

Added my first comment right at the beginning of watching this. That was grim to hear of your room mate dying, I am sorry about that.

How much is it to bring your skis on a plane vs renting for a week¿
@RobbieKnox4 жыл бұрын
Depends on the airline. On Air Canada it was free but this year British airways charged for a piece of baggage so £65 each way. But I’ll generally pay it as I want to ski on my own skis that I know and love. You just need to factor it in when choosing airlines.

Hey Robbie, Came across your Borovets review which made me chuckle and then this video followed, which was no doubt karma given that we’re off to Vancouver, Whistler and Big White this year. Out of interest, what time of the year we’re you in Whistler?
@RobbieKnox5 жыл бұрын
Amazing! You'll have an amazing time. We were in Whistler 7-14 March last year, I really love spring skiing so wanted to go then. I've never been to Big White but I hear it's great too. When are you going?
@mikedorfler79385 жыл бұрын
Hey Robbie, we’re in Whistler 29th March through 5th April then Big White until 12th April and then Vancouver til 15th April.
