From what I could see you were the only boat fishing. Keen as mustard. You reaped the rewards with a good catch & a memorable Mulloway. If I am ever lucky enough to catch a Mulloway I hope it is just over legal size. There is only 2 in our family. I went kayak fishing at Marmong Point / Awaba Bay on Saturday & there was a fair bit of huffing & puffing. Me battling wind & tide on the return to Marmong Point Boat Ramp. Caught a massive donut same as another kayaker fishing the same area. Second time in that area & amazed at how shallow it is running out into the Lake. I will not fish there at weekends due to heavy water traffic & significant wakes. Thanks for sharing.

Yeah I prefer week days when I have one off and yeah was only me and 2 other boats I could see. I have a few subscribers now so have to give them what they want to see! Hopefully u get that big one soon 🤙

Well caught! Easy to lose a fish that big. Flathead was a good size as well. Overcast days are the best days for fishing I always found. Nice work!

Hi Paul my average setup cost around $100, I do have more expensive setups but find the $100 setups work fine in the lake. I use graphite when soft plasticing but when bait fishing tends to be a heavier rod thankyou for watching cheers 🤙

Cheers mate I been buying cheap stuff for years and the 15lb mono I used for the pananosca rig was from kmart so the truth is whatever fits into your budget 🤷‍♂️ even some of my light rod setups were under $100
