I live in Thanet and it’s a very mixed area, black white, Indian , a lot of Eastern Europeans so wouldn’t say it’s racist. My family are black and my cousin ran a Caribbean restaurant on Margate seafront for a while and my uncles mate has just opened one on the harbour. They both get a lot of support not racism

She really said plantation with her chest 💀💀💀. I can't cope. These people need education! I honestly don't think we (white person) are taught enough about black culture in those earlier years of school. Complete ignorance and there is no excuse why it shouldn't be taught as an understanding within our generations moving forward

Munya! I think you should approach Channel 4 or BBC 3, the quality of your show could be something put on television too for more wider audience reach, get your name out there even further as a solid comedian. You are an entertainer/comedian in my eyes, would you ever do a panel show like 8 out of 10 cats does countdown? Or go on the big narstie show? Or many others. It would be sick. Love bro

Not knowing about Africa or it's cultures does not make someone racist. It makes you ignorant, but racist? Absolutely not. You could ask those people what the capital of Andorra is and they still wouldn't know. You would ask them what language is spoken in Moldova and they still won't know, Even us black people don't know the capital of Lithuania or what food they love over there.

Tbf ‘the blacked up Morris dancers’ have nothing to do with race. They came about from the miners and is supposed to reprazent soot on the faces from the coal as they left the mines. It’s been explained before yet people keep coming back to it like it’s some kind of racist Morris dance
@WhoCaresWhatIThink2 жыл бұрын
This show was funny, I enjoyed it. I just don't understand the surprise at people not being aware of black history or cuisine. I would argue that most white British would have the same lack of knowledge of German culture or even Welsh culture (for any Britain not Welsh.) We all simply have an interest in what affects us.

I’ve loved every episode but this one really finished me!!! From big narstie laughing, Munya walking up to Rebecca singing “Jodi and Rebecca” (from Sean Paul’s song) and the “plantation” comment.
