Huge congrats, Baron! I used the birth of my son as an excuse to go out and change my VFR800 for a Street Triple R as there was no way the wife was coming on the bike for a few years :) You'll love being a dad. The cost of kids is high, but money isn't necessarily the issue. The biggest problem is having enough time to get out and ride the bike. I can't wait until mine is big enough to come out with me :) Cheers! PB

Awesome news fella! I have two small people and still ride the bike :) And the Oxford grips, awesome! :) I have them too and that battery protect has worked a couple of times :) It's slightly worrying because you get to the bike and that light is on, and it sounds really flat when you start the bike, but it's just enough... phew :)

Talking about heated grips, I had Oxford heated grips on my ZZR600 and they would turn off when I stopped the engine and also they'd turn off when the RPM went below a certain amount in order not to flatten the battery.

Baby's are pretty expensive, I've got quite a high paying job and still think it is, but it is the best feeling ever holding your baby for the first time!! Even if no one cares it is a big responsibility, and does delay loads of things, i haven't been on my bike in 3 months!!

Heated grips the cold away, no doubt about it. The ones I have make the grips a bit thicker which I have gotten used to but some people may not like. In sub zero temperatures riding at speed with just gloves your hands will get colder and colder. The best solution is bar muffs, ugly though they are.

Mopeds: Aprilia sr50, gilera runner sp50, yamaha aerox, piaggio nrg. Bikes: Aprilia rs50, Aprilia rx50. Not many good 50cc bikes mate. But I personally have the Aprilia sr50, seen in my display picture and I haven't had a problem with it. Had it for 7 months, very reliable and looks amazing...for a ped.
