The whole weird change from the very good base of the game to the focus on the family of the emperor has made the game much worse. To somehow go back to how the game was in the beggining and just build on that like wow did with keeping the different cities but add new ones. That gives the game nostalgia atmosfare feeling. SWTOR should have understood why wow is still a strong game, and learned from that.

The name patch. It happened before. I dont recall exactly when but it was when Bioware condensed the servers, from the original density down to 20 or so. I had some legacies on other servers with names like Tulak Hord or others. They just jostled the chars from the disabled servers to the one where you had the mosts chars on. Many of the names that were dublettes were deleted and you had to decide to rename them or delete them. The lost legacies were also deleted and merged with the legacy where you had the most chars. This was most dissatisfying but I got over it. Now that I am gone for good it does not mean f*** to me. So, so long and thanks for all the fish, or so!

I'm newer to SWToR, when Avii was banned I watched the goings on, I opened my eyes and ears and kept my mouth shut while I tried to understand why. I have watched various Twitch streamers and video creators regarding SWToR, old and new, I've paid very close attention to what's been happening. I love the support the SWToR content creators and community have for each other and have seen the change in the game content. I once heard that Broadsword was where games go to die (maintenance only). I very much see that the SWToR players, both pvp and pve, are very much NOT ready for this to happen. I have hope that there will be change. As an older adult, I'm not impressed by current developer management over many situations that have occurred. I love SWToR and the community, I'm here because of you.

When a community manage cant make up a better "reason" "not enough time" - then thats not the right usage of a community manager. Read either the person dont get what the community expect of them, or they are most likely hogtied by the company. Regardless this is one of those "how not to handle things" imo. I'm pondering if its even legal though, to make pricechanges like that but not announce it to the customers, since the currency being used is actually haveing a real market value in real cash. Thus its typically more strict legal laws on changes to prices in some countries While you can gain cartelcoins ingame from some activites its so limited that well can you actually pay for any full changes ingame with it at this point?

Not a huge issue; you can just create a new character easily, then shift some gear, credits and a lvl 70 Holocron over from your Legacy Bank. We're all making new chars all the time for different class stories. Also with the Character pane you can just use outfit manager on there to change appearance unless you want a different eye colour / height etc if not wearing a mask. I still love the game but no longer sub, I just hop back to it from time to time to do PVP with my main or the other class stories (haven't finished them all yet!)

If you are trying to say the character appearance nerf isn't a big issue, I respectfully disagree. Many of us have billions of credits worth of outfits stamped on characters. Remaking some of our characters just isn't feasible, and I certainly wont be paying real $$$ to buy outfits after seeing how they are handling this character appearance butchering.

@@jackharper9140 Fair point, I didn't consider any non-legacy or Cartel gear if it's just bound to that character alone. Back in the day though the outfit customisation didn't really exist and it was only through the minimal amount of Cartel Market packs for real money. Just from my experience I chose the general Eradicator's outfit and most of the gear I work with is either from the Cartel Market or Legacy Bound meaning copies can be transferred from Collections or placed into the Legacy hold for other characters. I mainly see outfits as a nice visual just for single player cinematics or Flashpoints, because otherwise in PVP it's just for the few seconds before yourself or the others are killed. I prefer to spend the credits on gear mods rather than outfits really, but when I do I choose ones that could also be transferred.

Can you please regularly update on the recent update fixes? After seeing how horrible my characters look, I feel deterred from even playing the game right now, my character’s aged like sour milk. They look like they were shot by Ugly-inator. They look like they smoked a pack of cigarettes a day, already have bad skin and still neglected to never wear some block for 50 years. I recently made a female republic trooper that looks like a mass effect fem Shep and she looks like shit now. Never been so disappointed in a game update. They need to add a toggle feature so I can have the old graphics on the worlds or the new graphics and have the classic of vanilla character skins or have a newer character skin. I very much do like how smooth the vanilla faces look.

Seriously, I’m terrible with people and I know the ‘correct’ way to lie in this situation. “We’ve been seeing your feedback regarding the customization price changes, and would like to apologize for our lack of communication on the matter. As it stands, when the changes were implemented back in April, it simply didn’t seem like a major enough change to mention in patch notes or a community post. Again, we’re sorry for the confusion, and will work to improve communications going forward.” There. Sure, people wouldn’t necessarily be happy, but at least you’re only standing in the hole the people have dug for you, rather than digging it into a proper grave yourself. Were it up to me, the customization price would get waved for about a week after the modernization, but I understand that I’m asking for a snow cone on Mustafar at that point.
