@Dulcimerist yeah the deal with Yates was apparently insured but I still think counts towards your payroll. They could bring him back after a good season but probably left a bad taste in their mouth. They should be desperate for relievers though

I think a lot of the the non tender players comes down to the economy. Some teams will be looking to save money anyway they can. I see attendance being down next year at most of the parks.
