Hi...Why do you do the chicken wire around beds? I'm having lots of armadillo damage throughout my entire garden and am going to attempt enclosing it using chicken wire and rebar before Spring. That squash looks like a Sucrine du Berry variety.

Hey Heather all right so this is the second year with this Garden last year before we started it it was just a mad dash I wanted a garden and I wanted it no matter what we had to do all we had available was this chicken wire and for the most part it keeps those kinds of pests out of the garden it helps a lot I hope your armadillo armadillos will stay out with that chicken wire and rebar
