I have a 2094. Yes it's an animal. You can lay into in when cutting and doesn't miss a beat. And it's smooth and comfortable to run. Except the fact that's it's pretty heavy.

I'm in Ireland, best saw I ever had was the red homelite, savage torc cut with johnsered yes beautiful like stihl but just something about the bark and growl of the homie.. Even if this is five years old great vid

Another thing to note is that the 90cc saws wont really display their power with shorter bars like yours, step up to a 36" bar and the difference is obvious vs a 70cc class saw

True, but I can wedge with the bucking spikes on the 90's and that does show up. Also during that time I would adjust the rakers on the chain to take advantage of the power....bigger bite per tooth so even with the short bars the bigger saw would cut faster. The theory that on the smaller wood the bigger saw does show better is true assuming the same chain speed and chain configuration as max RPM can be even better with the sometimes higher reving smaller saws...but start adding sprocket size to increase chain speed and more aggressive raker configurations, both start taking advantage of the power to move more wood.....things are not longer equal. :)

I have a Husky 455 Rancher and I have been using Oregon chains the last 2 years my question is do you use these chains? because I've notice that they seam to stretch pretty quickly. because I run out of adjustment after cutting about 6 cords keep up the vids.

+Mark Leonard I use either Oregon LGX or Stihl RS chain. Have not had an issue with them stretching... and that's with some big iron too. Might check to see if you are getting enough bar oil to the chain.

I agree with afleetcommand here if this is actually your problem. When I first started using chainsaws (my first saw was an Echo 40cc with an 18" bar), I didn't realize how fast a saw would go through bar oil and I kept running the chain essentially dry, and it would end up stretching and I was constantly futzing with the chain tensioner. I was wondering what the heck the problem was. It was basically heat from friction on the dry chain making the chain stretch.The bar oil reservoir needs to be refilled about every other refill on gas, depending on the oil flow you set it to. No matter what, saws go through bar oil like poop through a goose, and if you plan to cut a few cords of wood, just buy a gallon of bar oil instead of the quarts. Once I learned my lesson on that one, no more stretching, and I have over a thousand hours of cutting experience. I've cut hundreds of trees into firewood rounds including over 50 western junipers (up to 30 inches at the base) which are a pain in the ass to cut and buck up but so worth it for the BTUs they provide and the great smelling smoke. However, they frequently trap my chain when limbing because the branches are either twisted or unbalanced. I mention this because maybe your are getting your bar and chain bound up in wood that traps the bar, and you twist and stretch trying to free the stuck chain? I currently run a Husky 550XP with a 20" bar, which is a great saw for most everything from limbing to cutting trees up to about 18" and it has way more power to weight than those consumer grade Husky saws due to their different kind of engine. I keep a 460 Rancher with a 24" bar as a backup. My wish list saw will be a 94cc Husky w/ 36" bar...someday.

Thanks for the feedback. I'm going through 2 tanks of gas per 1 full oil. I'm cutting mostly Ash. And Maple . I have been cutting for 35 years And getting older which I know I have bound the saw because of my Mind is thinking I'm 25 years old but my body is not. I like the chain No real complaint about that, and the saw has plenty of power for What I do. Thanks again!

They have an adjustment for oil.. see if you can adjust for more. I like a tank for a tank.

one big thing in this is none of the saws are stock saws and the other thing is i have run them all sthil and husky are made for speed and jonsered is made more for power you can lean on them and they just keep on cutting

Hey there Big Guy! What kinda coin was that FTek 660 ... I want one bad now ... So thanks a lot... Man!!! You should be on commission as a sales rep!!!! $, Without bar/chain? I'm to cheap to let that many twenty's out my wallet for the ?? Sugihara ( Japanise Ninja sword steel ).... But the more I think about it they are probley worth every darn nickel ... Because they ware well!!!! Right!?? Was this build a kit or a lot or did you order all the right stuff ...Like you where making your own kit? Was the muffler on the Chinese 660 equipt with some nice big ports already or does it need a good reaming? Thanks again for putting in so much of your time on all these blazing hot videos...man! And it's very cool that I see that you answer pretty much every question that people ask ya! It's inspiration .... That moves me brightly'!!! I Just unloaded a real nice clean husky 455 that had a carb issue when I snagged it .... And this guy needs to cut about four cords a year for heatin his house ...So I gave it to him for $300 Cash because he gave me his real clean husky 350 as a trade in !!! I'm liking this whole repair guy job idea....He said he thought he saw slight scoring on the piston.... He was complaing of slight loss of power... I'm so stoked to tear the cover off that bad boy when the sun comes up... And see what's under the hood! Hoping the jug is good enough and it's a Piston and ring job ... For a quick flip!!! I got an extra Hutzl big bore kit laying around.... Well really (6) big bore kits and three more 350's and a very cute little 345 with the primer bulb.... I'm doing the big bore with slightly opened ports.... Hoping it's more like 346xp??? It's lighter.... And I'm liking the primer bulb idea for really cold winter storm cleanups. I was also able to get four more 2150? Or 2050 poulands... Think they're 46 cc's or 42 cc's that all have compression. Never did get to the Echo QV-8000 ... I did get everything coated in the Amsoil Engine Builders lube. It's really cool stuff... As soon as the Hutzl jugs come in I coat everything....right! I had one about five days old or "soaking" and cleaned up the ports like your videos taught me... And I needed to clean it up so I took like three squirts of Dawn from the kitchen sink and scrubbed the crap out of it ...and rinsed it under hot water and the water in the bore was still really beading up !!! So I really poured the Dawn to the bore and scrubbed the crap out of it... And that dang water still beads up. It soaks into and bonds with the metal.... Hey keep an eye out for an MS 391 muffler from a crushed saw or a straight gased one for me... And I'm also looking for another husky 271XP. I have another 52 mm big bore kit for that 272 size saw and I really need to get one of those going so I can cut my firewood pile ... Because they are bigger rounds a buddy dropped for me and I got that 32 inch bar and chains... If you'd keep an eye out that would be great. I'm gonna go watch the video of the 272 saws so I can watch your Massy kick sum tail crusing on top of those four foot drifts... !!!! Love your tractor,man! And I also like the fact that the tires on the killer work cart or trailer don't match... I love the ribbed Ag tire on the right side! It reminds me of my Grampa's place in Indiana ... And they are the older Echo with the twin rings on the pistons... Not the newer single ring stuff. I think they did sum reverse engineering on their new orange stuff because these old ones run hard and strong for 15-20 years ... You clean the carbon and change the plug and go ten more! I probly would come off one ... No carb or tubes but that's super cheap on EBay for these models ... I'll bet this $11 dollar carb will work... I gotta figure out a cheap but good air filter and box??!? You have you a great day ! And I really do appriate being able to attend your "Chainsaw University" on The Tube! I got me one of those Tach's just like yours and it works great!!! I love that no cable necessary... Had that 455 dialed in...man! And tuned 5 or 6 weedwackers ... +David Thorne WOW! First Merry Christmas to you and your! All the kids are up and gone ,,,,but thankfully Stateside right now. One is Carrier based and will eventually be ship side when it goes out again. I would be very curious to get your feed back on those AM carbs and hope you put up echo vids as that's a hole in my experience set. Just about overwhelmed with Stihl and Husqvarna stuff! Trying to narrow the repair side to Pro level Saws.... but many of the "Pro's" use things like MS390's and Husqvarna 455's! The MS660 really is a collection of parts I have to scramble up. A lot from Farmertec direct through Huztl, but also things like fasteners through Alhborns' and detailing parts like pulse lines, carb and other rubber parts thru my local dealer. And yes eBay...need to use OEM parts like the Chain adjusters. I've got a couple of sets of Farmertec parts for the next set of build's that's about 90 percent of the final build each. It costs about 300-325 to replicate and then another 50-60 or so to fill in the blanks at full prices. If you do well on "bidding" you can cut that quite a bit. Hoping to get to a pair of simple man builds this winter to show off in the spring time; Certainly a cool puzzle! They have their quirks but I've had a lot of fun with them and making them work well is the challenge. And they have been rewarding. I'm still liking the 52mm Huztl kits for the 365/372's and think I like even the open port 350 top end Huztl sells for the 350's for a basic firewood saw. Built two and they run well enough. Looking forward to some video's! Especially those echo's WJL
