Welcome back to the KZbin channel! In this video, we take a look at Ducky Johnson Racing's X275 Mustang. This car has a long history in the X275 class and is known for its consistent performance. It was originally built by Ron and Ronnie Rhodes of Rhodes Custom Auto, and has been updated throughout the years to keep up with the demands of the class. We've recently worked on the car to update the front and back, and have also cut weight to make it the fastest conventional headed big block car in the X275 class. In this video, we'll take a look at the car and discuss our plans to further lighten it up. We'll also put the car on the scales to give you an idea of its current weight.

This was cool but couldve been way cooler why didnt you show any of the rear end housing work being done, the steeing shaft stuff? Or the cutting out of the extra metal? That wouldve been really helpful!

Has the block been CNC’d to remove unnecessary things? Titanium rear end housing? If the cage has been updated, does it have tubes inside tubes? I’m not familiar with x275 rules, how much of the floor is required? How much of the factory shock towers remain? Beautiful car!
@TinSoldierRacecars
@TinSoldierRacecars Жыл бұрын
Block has been cnc’d. Titanium housing would be a crazy expense and you would have to make everything. No sleeve when we updated, we cut it off from the main hoop back. Floor is required from the firewall to the main hoop. Shock towers are bare minimum for the rules. Thank you it’s an iconic piece.
