I really enjoyed watching this series. Learning a lot about my skin. Could you please do a video on scalp care? And products in the market that address various hair concerns that are dermatologist recommended.

@@DrSamBunting 3x or 4x TCA cross on all the pores, with 6 weeks heal time between each session, then full laser resurfacing after is the only way at this point in technology to get rid of large pores, as Davin Lim said if you do this you will have "basically no pores". but you have to do all of these steps without missing any. imo, after researching this issues for years, and trying everything including fraxel, this is the only thing which really really works, and its permeant. dont do tca cross yourself tho, the acid is cheap, but you are paying for an expert not to mess it up. if you do it yourself you will prob make it worse. let me know what you all think.

I have a question related to pores/t- zone skincare. What about folks that use a c-pap? 1. Any concern about actives at night? 2. I felt like my retinol was traveling to my lips (mask over my nose contacts my upper lip) and my lips get fiercly dry at night since wearing this. I started wearing lip balm at night which has helped the lip irritation significantly but now I feel like my balm is getting on the skin around my nose due to contact with the mask. Should I be concerned about that? 3. My machine has a humidifier how does that impact the skin and pores around my nose? Thank you!

I definitely think it’s best to focus on the oil production, like you say. Clogged pores are the issue

I've had clogged pores since I was a teenager (I'm now 45) and have used Salicylic acid and Trentinoin, increasing in dosage from .025 to .5 now, for over a year now and they still seem the same. I feel like they are just going to be permanently clogged and it makes me really sad.

Try using The Ordinary Niacinamide and Zinc serum :) I've heard it works great for clogged pores

Kris Olsen I think you’re on 0.05% . The strongest available prescription is 0.1%. Perhaps you could increase the dose .

Thanks so much for another great, educational video. Can you please comment on microneedling or dermapen as a way to reduce pore size?

Hi there, does shaving your face make your pores appear bigger ? Would you even recommend shaving your face ??

Carina Maciel it’s a form of microexfoliation, I believe, and I haven’t had any bad reactions personally using them.

Hi Dr Sam! Love your channel, I've learnt so much about skin and love your simple yet effective approach to skincare! It would be great to see a dedicated video on eczema and possible treatments on your channel. There's so much misunderstanding surrounding eczema and fear around topical steroids so would love if you could provide some clarification.

Hi Dr Sam, speaking of acne post stopping the contraceptive pill. Will this ever settle down back to my normal cancer-free skin or is this how my skin is will be from now, like a spotty teenager? Thank you

I'm struggling with clogged pores developing on my back, right in the area that is impossible to reach, so creams and topicals are nearly impossible to use. It's embarrassing to go to my dermatologist or esthetician and ask them to clean out large pores that keep getting clogged. I wish there was some way to avoid it altogether.

This might not be helpful but i used to have back acne and I got a brush to scrub my back in the shower and used an exfoliating face wash (salicylic acid) and it really cleared it up
