Love the vlogs bro. But in the ace king hand I think you should check back with the 5 coming on the turn. Control the size of the pot and you can comfortably call on the river. He may even value bet worse aces on the river.

The AK hand, another potential hand villain could hold is AX of clubs that flopped top pair and picked up the flush draw on the turn. Your other thoughts on his potential hands seem valid. Probably a good fold. Another observation: none of your big river bets when you had the best hands got called. Might be wise to think about getting some calls with those big hands by betting smaller. On the last hand a bet of $150-200 might get you a call. Good luck.

At 5:50 I believe the correct play here is to check back the turn and snap call a River lead. Why bet for value on turn if not prepared to call a check raise? Nah mean? My 2 cents. Great video as always.

The Beluga Theorem states that when you get check raised on the Turn you should seriously consider folding any one-pair hands.

6:40 snap fold to the turn check raise. Dunno what he has but it's beating TPTK 95% of the time. This year, we're going for big value with good hands, big scary high equity bluffs, and snap folding when straightforward low stakes players tell us to stop betting.

Definitely think your sizing bets for value could be better, You tend to over bet quite often and in low stakes games people only call those bets with very strong hands. Sizing 1/3 pot bet for value with a strong hand could induce bluff/ get value from weak hands that won’t call big bets. If you have the nuts and a person has a very strong hand they will most likely raise a small bet on the river anyways in small stakes. Could be wrong tho! Let me know what you think tho! wolfgang, on that hand in which you folded ace-king to a raise, what if your opponent also had ace-king or even ace-queen trying to see where he was at? if you call he knows he is ahead. you jam in that spot, who knows. but i think its a jam or nothing in that spot. my guess is that he may have had ace-jack. tough laydown though.

That AK fold was a good fold, but you should have checked the turn instead of betting. Also, you tend to over bet your hands on the river. You need to do a better job of disguising your bets on the river (the KQ hand $500 river bet is a classic example...you should have bet $225). You played the A7 D hand very well. Overall, you played fairly well.

AKo hand you shouldn't have raised the turn. keeps the pot a decent size so the shove on the river from your opponent would be smaller. He is also way more likely to have a 5, so I think you should have seen a free card to see if your hand improves!

In the hand with AKo, AJ55 board, the bluffs (all semi-bluffs) that the BB can have are K10 clubs, Q10 clubs, and certain Ax club hands. Value hands are AJ, A5, JJ, and any 5x hands. It’s a close spot, and honestly the turn 5 is a great bluff card. I would’ve checked turn for pot control and deception, and then called a high percentage of river bets if clubs miss.
