Exodus is definitely going to be an Egyptian themed ride. The Tutu’s Revenge poster in Trailers, the fact the Exodus sounds like the Book of Exodus from the bible, and the splash affect reminds me of the Crossing of the Red Sea and the golden colour scheme that was revealed recently.

In my opinion Mack should design the train with the very back row Facing backwards and the row before the back row spinning. That would hands down probably be one of the best ride experiences in the world.

I can see Thorpe park adding a backwards facing seat a couple seasons in (like the one on DC Rivals) so they can market it as a new kind of ride (similar to what they did with swarm)

Oh my god thank you so much for answering all 4 of my questions :O I was so blown away with you taking the time to answer 2 of them and then you went back and answered the other 2! You even got Roy on camera for a sec! XD I totally get you not wanting to get in the way of the work, in my experience (from working in Screwfix) tradesmen can be some of the most down to earth people and so fun to chat with. I thought if they were willing to chat they’d be great people to hear from, but they are also just there to do a job and get paid, and they need to focus. If they get a bit of a chance to brag about their other coaster work with a fan it’s only a perk 😅 Again thanks so much for answering them all I was so so surprised XD Not related to my questions, the other seat configurations sound INSANE! They sound terrifying but also so much fun, I hope they eventually add something like that onto exodus but I’m definitely going to have to stick with normal seats at first XD it was only June 2022 that I went on saw the ride for the very first time as I was terrified of the vertical lift, and now I’m so stoked for exodus it’s hard to believe. I googled construction work at Thorpe park when getting home after seeing something happening behind the white wall, discovered your channel and have been here ever since! Your passion is addictive. Thanks for the fantastic video as usual jack!

From what I could see yesterday I believe the the filling in of the lake may have been started as there were a number of trucks with dirt going over to the exodus site so it seems to be moving ahead very quickly as multiple trucks went into the site.

I tried doing my own Project Exodus updates only the fact I did not realise the access to monk's walk was completely flooded in the tunnel.

thorpe do have the farm and some other bits of land dotted arround, so they could get track and supports and ride hardware at any point really. just depends when they are done manufacturing it and weather the company making the track has the space to store it long term or if they have to ship to thorpe as and when the parts are done. i think we could start seeing supports and track in between late june to maybe early aug. Im predicting an egyption theme

Proper update!! I love Dom's passion but updates through hoardings isn't really an update!! Have to agree with the layout aspect, after the splashdown , it surely could of been extended running along the side of the walkway, Hypers are notorious for air hills, only thing missing!!

Not going to lie but I still find it hard to believe oldtown is gone. Like the last time I visited Thorpe Park was like 2018 before Creek freak massacre was open if I can remember. I still remember the teasers outside of the mill

Great video jack! For further improvements in the park I want to see new flats for spaces like quantum (getting old), mr monkeys, slammer area. I want to see detonator themed back to inferno and angry birds turned back to amity. And finally if exodus is themed to Egyptians I think it would be cool for walking dead to be turned into a Egyptian dark ride with a new coaster inside a bit like the mummy!

Question: What’s the difference between the builders and the manufacturer? (Is it just the track and trains or something else as well?

Manufacturer which is Mack make the trains, supports, track, chain lift etc. They make the ride itself and then a different external construction company are doing the building and ground works.

think of the manufacturers as the same people who create the wood, brick, cement ext for house building, mack rides is basicly the architect / designer. and the builders do the same thing as normal builder in houses, they take the already crafted meterials and the step by step plans and but it all together like a giant lego set

To be fair though, Stealth gets away with being short because it's a launched coaster. Exodus on the other hand sadly doesn't. I mean, it looks ace, but I think if they at least added another Inversion or 2 it would've been perfect.
