Pe Joshy im black and ive been listening to hip hop for five decades now and i have mad respect for pun as a artist and mc which is why he is in my top ten...i dont give him the number one spot not cause he aint black i just think his career was to short 98-2000 and neither of his two albums received 5 mic or XXL rating although in my opinion you could make a case for capital punishment...love his flow and wordplay its just unfortunate he never got a chance to record more music...RIP big pun!!!

funny, I'm Puerto Rican, all day, grew up on hip hop in Bronx, from the very first day rap music was invented. I thought Biggie was always the greatest, but so many years later, I realize how incredible Pun was. If Big Pun and Biggie was alive, man, how the rap world would be so different today. But in this rap game, if you a Latin Rapper, forget it, you got to rock the mic twice as better, for half of the respect. Thats how it is. Now, If Eminem was black, would Eminem be considered the GOAT, or just another rapper with lyrics. Think about it.

Pe Joshy pun and big would of been a great collaboration and like pun big also had short career 94-97 difference is big had a much bigger impact on hip hop in his short time and both his albums ready to die and life after death got either 5 mics or XXL rating they both consider a masterpiece...as far as flow and wordplay they are both comparable but i think biggie has a better and more smoother delivery...i can listen to big and catch every thing he is saying in one take but in alot of pun songs i have to do two or three takes to catch everything (remember fat joe saying he had to tell pun to dial it down some so people can grasp everything he is saying) also thought big was more creative as a rapper in terms of sustance and content and was a much better story teller than pun...but regardless im still a big pun fan and him and big were gone to fast!!!
