Big Ridge State Park - Lake Trail to Dam

I used to live by and walk to this lake. I walked this trail many times carrying my youngest on my shoulders. I walked the whole loop all the way to the parking lot with the old gris mill. A young boy drowned during our church Pic 34:09 34:09 34:09 34:09 34:09 34:09 nic off the edge of lake before dam. He was 12 and somehow slid in from the mud on a spring day. He had taken swimming lessons the year before. Sad day for everyone. I live in Michigan now but remember...
