Great conversation. This inspired me to take a leap of faith to start producing music. I always felt like I could do so and be good but not great. Anything, I do I always want to be the greatest at or considered one of the greatest. If, I don't have that desire with anything I do, then I just don't bother with it. But, I've come to realize that if you want to be great or master anything in life, you have to hone your craft by getting better everyday. I did also like the fact that they were talking about beatmaking vs producer. Both are needed in the music industry but to me a producer is way more valuable than just a beatmaker. No diss to just beatmakers but a producer can make beats, record, sometimes engineer but the greatest thing is being able to bring the best out of an artist to give great quality music. Great production and great artistry is something special together.
