Jay Shetty Podcast

Күн бұрын

Jay Shetty sits down with Big Sean to talk about personal growth and dealing with relationships. In order to be of service to others, we all need to take care of our needs first. This is why self-care is something you owe to yourself, it is something you deserve in any way, shape, and form. And when you master self-care, you become better at handling your emotions, you get more invested in your relationships, and you become more aware of the things that truly make you fulfilled and happy.
Big Sean is a popular American rapper. He has won several awards including the ‘MTV Music Awards’, and ‘BET Awards’ over the course of his career. He cites stars like Eminem and Kanye West as his inspirations and has released a total of four music albums till date. Big Sean, in collaboration with rapper and producer Hit-Boy released an EP entitled What You Expect in October 2021.

What a gem. Never really thought about that word "chase" if we are chasing our dreams or chasing money its almost implied that the dream or the money or whatever we are chasing is avoiding being caught but in pursuing, the destination is isnt avoiding us or moving. Walking to the destination vs running or chasing also removes the anxiety. And there is a gratitude in enjoying the walk.

What I enjoyed the most about this episode is that Big Sean also asked Jay questioned. I'm not sure i've watched an episode where the guests also engaged Jay in conversation, so I loved this even more because of that because we also got to see Jay's perspective on the same things that he's asking Sean about. Love it!!!!

I have attempted to meditate many times in my life and prior to this CD the only success I've experienced is with live guided meditation. kzbin.infoUgkxzpa8CIfZcihW4Z0F_ja0QF3W9KIatrsq This is the first CD I've used that cuts through my unmedicated ADHD and enables me to truly relax and experience a quiet and energizing interval. The instructors voice is very soothing and pleasant to listen to. I am easily able to sit successfully through the entire CD, and for quite some time after. I cannot adequately express how tremendously helpful this CD has been on my spiritual journey!! Two thumbs up and 10 stars!

Big Sean & Jay Shetty! Man this couldn’t have been more of a great timing to absorb this conversation filled with wisdom. I’m in a stage in life where I can understand and relate to when and how to take action. Whether that means taking time for self care and when to be able to offer a helping hand to the ones you love and care about. We all get burned out at one point. Choose a day to reset yourself or your mind and body will choose that day for you.

Love the video. Truly impactful. Here's some bit of advice i have for you 1) Define specifically what you want, the ideal scene, 2) expand your scene with details, 3) write it down, writing it down changes everything 4) dream building (go look at it, touch it, feel it, make contact), 5) see yourself in possession of what you want to attain and feel now as you would when you've attained it, 6) something you can attain within 6 months to a year, create momentum, 7) write down an objective or goal for 1-3 months, 8) what action step can you take tomorrow, 9) weekly chart or graph your progress

Personally, it helps to receive certain messages from people who look like me that are also actively healing immense amounts of generational trauma. Thank you for doing the work! Please bring back Jhene, that one was also so insightful. Also really wild how Sean called Will "human" months before last night.

I'm watching this after jhene announced her pregnancy and all i can think about is how far they've come and how mature they had to be to take their time and work on their lives separately. When they first started seeing each other, I remember so much discord around the fact that they weren't in a rush to be exclusive, and at the time it made my insecurities wonder, "is this just another situationship, are they secretly toxic people pretending to heal". But I knew they were both very self aware adults and that they both understand what their needs and how to explore their wants in a healthy way, which made me respect and follow/tune in with them even more . They exhibit such a healthy, freeform version of love and it's made me believe that my true soul mates are the people i've found that love me in that unconditional and unconstructive way. I love that you guys talked about healthy relationship dynamics in a time where people are simply looking for someone to give them the validation they never got as kids. Our partners are not a solve all to our insecurities.

Been taking notes but “don’t comprise, if comprise becomes torture” was the comment note. Big life advice🔑I lost myself in a relationship for years and trying to fit into society in a way I thought I was suppose to.

Judging people because they judge other people that was deep I do that and I will stop! And use that same energy to do more beneficial things. This podcast did so much for me. I woke up not feeling well and though I meditated I was still in a negative headspace instead of my Godspace. Being a local artist is challenging in many ways though I Loveit. I do relocate a lot and will be doing it again soon and it's always stressful. I have to remind myself everyday to be grateful and 😅follow Gods Lead always in every way. Contributing to making the world a better place through the music that I share and my other gifts and work is key! I totally loved the podcast and enjoyed seeing two beautiful men with gentle beautiful minds. You two really helped me to work through my slump today. I just needed rest really. Listen to your body. Pray meditate eat well play in the water Have fun enjoy life enjoy your day Rest when you need to make time Forrest. Love on the ones you love. Love on yourself. Thank God!! Peace love and blessings. Ask God for Desiree of your heart
