I've only ever read the first book in the Throne of Glass series and I don't really know whether I want to continue, but I've heard many people say that the second one is great! Will probably take some time for me to finally read Tower of Dawn ;) Great book haul! And I LOVE your shirt so much!
@SimranKaur-pi3kw7 жыл бұрын
Basically Britt honestly it's not worth it, QOS wasn't great and I feel like the story declines slowly after HOF
@acciojenna7 жыл бұрын
Some people love it and some people hate it just like any other book. Throne of Glass is probably the weakest book in the series though. Heir of Fire and Empire of Storms are my favorite though.
@HannahCassieBooks7 жыл бұрын
I think it depends if you are interested enough in seeing how main character's story turns out. It's very divided on loving and hating but if you are not really sure about ToG I would maybe advice reading ACOTAR, it's def better series of same author

I went to the release party which honestly made me so much more excited for this book, especially hearing SJM talk about it - I put it in my vlog but she basically says that she felt the same emotionally when she was writing this book as when she was writing HoF so it makes sense that it's hella good.

I want all the Penguin Drop Cap editions too (Because pretty, I'm such a consumer) but complete collections are so freaking expensive. I've seen them for 440 to 1700$ online. Like, what?!! You have the right idea getting them once a month but I have no self control. I'd buy them all at once as soon as I got one. With each book costing 10 to 20 $ that's 260 to 520 dollars.

Is book outlet better than amazon??
@caraamethyst69567 жыл бұрын
Pea and Ruby Rose book outlet's prices are even cheaper than Amazon, that is if you can find the books that you want. There are many hardcover editions at book outlet cheaper than amazon's paperback. I've also been sent signed first editions on more than one occasion as a surprise. They also now have a designated shipping price, but I've heard there can be difficulties if you don't live in North America. Also shipping isn't as quick as Amazon prime's 2 day. Hope that helps.x

Have you read Release by Patrick Ness?
@laureb.29827 жыл бұрын
Hi Regan! Just to let you know that in your latest videos (i.e. since you moved) the lighting is very bright, I guess you stand facing your windows when you film? It's not a bother most of the time, but here I couldn't make out the cover of Sourdough that much, and that's a pity :) Is there a workaround for viewers on KZbin? Again, not that much of an issue for me, but I thought I could mention it. Thanks!

I just finished Twelve Kings in Sharakhai by Bradley Beaulieu. I recommend it. It is an epic fantasy book. Hope you try it. Synopsis from Goodreads: Sharakhai, the great city of the desert, center of commerce and culture, has been ruled from time immemorial by twelve kings-cruel, ruthless, powerful, and immortal. With their army of Silver Spears, their elite company of Blade Maidens, and their holy defenders, the terrifying asirim, the Kings uphold their positions as undisputed, invincible lords of the desert. There is no hope of freedom for any under their rule. Or so it seems, until Çeda, a brave young woman from the west end slums, defies the Kings’ laws by going outside on the holy night of Beht Zha’ir. What she learns that night sets her on a path that winds through both the terrible truths of the Kings’ mysterious history and the hidden riddles of her own heritage. Together, these secrets could finally break the iron grip of the Kings’ power...if the nigh-omnipotent Kings don’t find her first. www.goodreads.com/book/show/24611565-twelve-kings-in-sharakhai

Little fires everywhere is set in Shaker Heights which is where I live....and I find that the description of the town hysterical 😂 It's actually known for being incredibly artsy and super racially diverse there are nine completely distinct neighborhood and a huge sense of community and btw there are no homeowners associations because all of the houses are historical and no two are the same there are houses in my neighborhood that have the design of legit castle like architecture but house sized...and if you go to the wealthiest neighborhood by the nature center the houses literally look like castles like some make me feel like I'm at Hogwarts... but yeah supper inaccurate description of the town not sure if it's your perception before reading it, Regan or how the author described it? I was planning on reading the book but if that's the authors depiction of Shaker I don't think I can it will irritate me reading it when I ya know live here 😂😂😂😂 Please let me know!
@PeruseProject7 жыл бұрын
+Elise Christine will for sure circle back about this! Perhaps I misunderstood "home owners association" for more of a historical accuracy association? You know people wanting to maintain the historical quality and upkeep of local historical landmarks?
@Its_Elise_C7 жыл бұрын
Yes! We have a historical society that does that! Which I appreciate because it's what keeps the town so beautiful but is also very annoying when you want to renovate something in a house or apartment... think Taylor Dosey in historic Stars Hallow annoying lol But yes please let me know for sure once you've read the book!
