I remember that one stage, I think it was some kind of underground railway, and the midboss there was just some odd puppet hanging from the ceiling. And it was a completely unique enemy too, unlike most of the other midbosses, the only other thing like it were some smaller puppets it spat out that somewhat resemble it. I just found it really odd, and I don't see anyone talk about it.

Spamton would be a boss that gets possessed by the Big Bad of the game, is clearly important in some way but isnt explained outright. Sorta like that one boss in the n64 kirby game, where you have to hit 3 red green and blue shape things with their respective color, but with the level of lore implications of shiver star. Its some ancient technology or something, abandoned years ago and now you're fighting it.
