Big Smokey Fire in 4K 02-18-2023

I go outside today and this what I seen almost 1 1/2 miles East of my home. Of course I had to grab the DJI Mini 3 Pro and get some video. It appears to be a controlled burn so no worries. With all the rain we've got this month I am surprised that anything can burn right now. There was alot of ash in the air and it was all over my driveway and porches. I got covered getting the video... I was able to get pretty close but the smoke from the fire affected my reception, it was going from 5 bars into 0 bars so I didn't want to get much closer but I did have to gain altitude to regain signal so I could make it back. I lingered over 30 minutes and grabbed what video I could and returned home. I hope you enjoy the footage and Thanks For Watching Everybody!
As soon as the dirt dries out abit more in the backyard I will be running the trucks again asap, we have been getting a bunch of rain the last couple of weeks...

Good footage. It does look like a controlled burn the way the fire hot spots are spread out. Good thing the wind wasn't blowing your direction.

You got that right, the ash is bad enough on this side. I have to wash the vans again, lol. I feel bad for the people on the other side though.
