Had the same problem a couple of days ago… I was fishing for perch and croaker on a Carolina rig… switched to a Calissa and BAM! My PB striper on 8lb test! I love me some Izorline xxx🎣

Yeah brotha I wish as well but you never know.. with all the crazy weather this year it may stir things up. I would imagine places like Oregon that they would thrive and are fairly similar I mean they are getting more common in places as far south in San Diego possibly even Mexico in the future.

They are definitely a wonderful species. As far as I know they are nestled in pockets here in there in the Long Beach area.

Wow Mike what a super fine catch. I noticed a few perch too. Water looked rough and somewhat dirty. How long will the striper bite continue in the "Monterey" area?

We’ll Ron unfortunately not very long. The smaller class fish will hang around. I’ve honestly caught 21-23 in pockets until thanksgiving which was a shock. It rains stay away they will be around.
