I noticed that on multiple occasions Firstpost likes to use the term "kamikaze attack" when describing conventional news coverage. You really need to STOP this. Kamikaze means "divine wind" and was a term that originally existed from back in the 7th century to characterize (usually natural or weather-related) unexpected incidents that helped assist or save people and kingdoms from destruction. Towards the end of WWII, yes, the term was used to refer to the poor young soldiers who were selected to pilot the one-way flight from home carrying just one bomb. They were therefore honored as the"divine wind" to show respect. By definition there must be a live pilot flying this plane, so any of today's remote-controlled drones and missiles are all simply mechanical artillery and definitely not some form of "kamikaze". Do not be led astray by somr of the media who always want to portrays things using daramatic eye-catching titles and phrases, which are just rude as well as factually incorrect. You will never hear the word kamikaze used lightly within Japan. As an impartial and dependable news source, I do hope Firstpost and editor Palki Sharma will take this to heart and always try to stay one level above the noise and temptations.
