Odom only had two seasons at UNLV and did do well. However, I just dont see it at a Power 5 level. Good luck to Perdue. As far as the playoffs, I think the committee actually got it right which is wild. 12 pretty damn good teams to battle for a title is exactly what you want to see. That being said, Oregon going to walk through everyone I think...

Agree with you about UNLV and Barry Odom. Yes, he’s a good coach, but is he the guy to be the face of your program and build NIL to go recruit guys? That’s so key and I don’t know if I trust him to get that done after watching his first team meeting. Purdue needs an energetic, offensively minded coach, imo. Against all odds the CFB playoff committee got the 12 teams mostly right, imo. I don’t like that Boise gets a bye or that the Irish host a game, but these are minor quibbles. The committee largely did a great job given the current parameters of the selection process. I disagree about Oregon though. The Ducks may win the national title. However, I actually don’t think any team is good enough to roll through this field. This is a season of parity in college football. I think there will be be some big upsets. Excited to see how it all shakes out!
