The Michigan Wolverines defeated the Iowa Hawkeyes in the Big Ten Championship game. This is Michigan’s first Big Ten title since 2004. Quarterback Cade McNamara passed for 169 yards and one touchdown pass. On the ground, Blake Corum and Hassan Haskins combined for 130 yards and three touchdowns.

The one play that would have made the 1st quarter competitive was when iowa missed a wide open flea flicker in the end zone. They were fortunate iowa shot themselves in the foot on that play. It would have gave them confidence and maybe hung around a little more than they did. Overall 〽️ was just too good.

A game prior against Nebraska Iowa's kicker could thread a needle from fifty all day it seemed but shanks his first one here at close range... wow... also easier to get 10 wins in the regular season when you don't face Ohio St. or Michigan. Same in 2015 when they won 12 but did NOT play Ohio St. or MIchigan.
