The defining play was Zachariah Branch dropping the pass on the 3rd down👎

I recall many of us with "the untrained eye" speculated before the season that the lines would be our weak spot and a lack of depth would be a close second. And that has come to pass. I certainly did not expect things to be this bad. I did not expect our offense to be inept. But here we are. I hope our recruiting focus will be on the lines because a successful future in the Big 10 clearly depends upon it. For now it's Fight On and let's give the Nittany Lions a loss!

Agreed. I'd like to hear more 4- and 5-star linemen committing to the program and less skill players. We have plenty of those young men already. Skill players come a dime a dozen. If needed, the staff can pluck a few from the portal. The linemen on both sides of the ball should be the main focus of USC recruiting right now. I think it's time to move on from coach henson as well.

I really hope Riley has learned from the 2 losses to stick with the running game when opponents concede it. Stop trying to pass when the defense is dropping 8 & rushing only 3. Opponents will surely use Minnesota's strategy in making USC win by making them be patient and stick with the run game. Riley has gotta fight his impulses to wanna throw the ball and take what the defense gives. That loss is totally on him & his situational playcalling. I wish he'd concentrate on being the head coach/qb coach and get an offensive coordinator.

Don’t get your hopes up, can’t teach on old stubborn dog a new trick. 3 years in nothing changed except losing a generational talent QB. He won’t listen to the “untrained eye”

At least USC is not giving up 40 points per game. There has been some defensive improvement. The team has to get in shape for 4th quarters going forward. The two losses happened in the fourth quarter.

People need to get over playoffs. We just aren't one.

Big 10 officiating is home cooked, it seems pretty obvious. Same in the Michigan game.

Time to spend big nil money on lineman soon as we can’t wait for these 3 stars to develop

It's a rebuild. Theyre doing well with those who chose to ride it out. Might not be instant gratification that we want but i realize we'll get there..sooner than later.

Jt Daniels retired from football because of concussions. His last one was real bad. He was playing great at the time 2,443 yards and 21 Td's in 9 games. He missed weeks 10-12 and the bowl game and retired.

Sooooo basically the Big Ten is admitting they are effing us? Cool. Feels like first year hazing this season with the refs. Will be interesting to see what happens this weekend in the Ohio state game. I’m expecting Oregon to get screwed…hopefully.

Whenever Eric Gentry gets back on the field he should wear a neck roll like Jack Lambert used to wear or Eric Dickerson. He has a long neck and it well help absorb helmet impact. Quite frankly not sure why players stop wearing them.

LOSERS CRY ABOUT THE REFS
@johnwhite25767 сағат бұрын
Look it was a touchdown-1) we shouldn’t have to win on a questionable call- it’s like bush. V gore or bush push. 2) Minnesota shouldn’t need or want to win this way-typical of Reico boudin on a quest r all ther tan hi man questionable play calls ! Weak !!!. These refs t gonna doing us any favors dEI lay not until we ‘learn our place!’ Ill ll what also juts football? Catch balls thrown to your chest, learn pass pro, run the ball when they are in permanent cover two, the sends are selling out and your getting what 6.5 yards a pop?

I hope Penn State runs up the score. I wanted Lincoln Riley gone before he was even considered for the USC job.

Wow, I was sure no other team in the Big Ten would ever blame officiating as much for their losses as Ohio State does but USC is making a strong case in their first season.

Conference coaches collectively panned pac12 refs. We had hoped for better in the B18. Guess not! I suppose you are used to it!✌️

Good for Coach Riley calling out the refs. He clearly said it wasn’t the only reason why USC lost. He is addressing the issue and I’m sure his players are glad he has their back. Fight on ✌️!

USC will not make the playoffs. It has been Lincoln Riley's fault that USC has lost two games. He is supposed to be an Offensive Guru. Lynn is doing his job as a defense coordinator. Lincoln Riley=Clay Helton.

Lmfao wrong LR can't block for Miller Moss. O line needs to perform better. You don't build the trenches in 2 years. Gonna take more time to fit what Helton broke
