Same dude. Saw them open for M Ward in 2016 in Louisville. Left the show after their set because that’s what i came for. Walk out, and Adrianne and Buck are hanging out. Adrianne grabbed a guitar and played Paul for a crowd of 3-4 people. One of the most magical experiences of my music-going career

I can't believe I just found this group. I'm so displaced living in Mexico and I rarely talk to English speakers. And I lay low, severely depressed. I played guitar and sang 4-6 hours a day for a over a decade (literally) a while back. But I haven't picked up my guitar for over a year. Someone has been stealing my soul bit by bit for awhile now, it's almost all gone. But I love her and she needs me. She's disabled. I'll never leave her alone. She couldn't make it on her own. I gotta find balance. Listening to this makes me want to cry. I'm fighting back tears. I gotta surf again and play my guitar. Try and get a little of my soul back. Fuck, music can be a powerful thing.

I know its been a year since you posted your thoughts but I just wanted to reach out and say I commend you for your heart and perseverance in helping your very special person. She would have to be amazing for one to toss their other loves away (guitar/surfing/themself) plus little pieces of themselves in hopes to save her. You are a beautiful person to try so hard to help her & at such a high expense. BUT PLEASE, LISTEN TO MY HEART FRIEND AND LISTEN WELL.....Life is a gift given to us by God/The Universe/Eternal Being of any kind you choose. That amazing gift called LIFE is given to each of us when we are born. It's handed to us all wrapped up beautifully in shiny gorgeous paper with an amazing bright big bow and this gift is soooo beautiful and it is YOURS and yours alone. Each of us recieve one of these priceless gifts when we come into this world. And believe me when I say that this amazing gift is yours to enjoy to its complete fullness. You get one and only one of these precious gifts. Please friend, use it wisely, use it to fulfill YOUR life long dreams & hopes & show your maker that your gift is appreciated and loved more than anything!!! It was never given to you so you could give it to her. Cutting small pieces of your life and heart away. She recieved one of her own gifts called life just like yours. If God meant for her to have 2 gifts He would have given her 2. Please friend, you can not save her by giving her YOUR life BUT you CAN save yourself by taking YOUR LIFE (gift) back and living it to the fullest as it was meant to be!!! LIFE IS FOR THE LIVING AND TO BE LIVED TO ITS UTMOST GREATEST ABILITY for this is definitely what Our Maker would want. You have shown her what it is to be loved by another human, to be taken care of, its time now to allow God to show her and help her find herself. Perhaps a free womens retreat. This way you can find yourself once again before it's too late. Remember, it's one gift, one life, one chance. Please my brother, live it as it's meant to be lived!!!

couldn’t find the lyrics in the comments so: She was a shark smile in a yellow van She came around and I stole a glance in my youth A vampire Evelyn shown quiet as roses sting It came over me at a bad time But who wouldn't ride on a moonlit line? Had her in my eye, 85 down the road of a dead end gleam And she said woo Baby, take me And I said woo Baby, take me too It came over her at a bad time Riding through Winona down the dotted line Held us gunning out Ninety miles down the road of a dead end dream She looked over with a part smile Caught up in the twinkle, it could take awhile And the money pile on the dashboard fluttering As she said woo Baby, take me And I said woo Baby, take me too Evelyn's kiss was oxygen I leaned over to take it in As we went howling through the edge of south Des Moines It came over me at a bad time She burned over the double line And she impaled as I reached my hand for the guardrail Ooh, the guardrail Ooh, the guardrail And she said woo Baby, take me And I said woo Baby, take me too She said woo Baby, take me And I said woo Baby, take me too

2:21 makes me cry almost every time 😢 this is rock and roll 💯 they all know how to lay it down and hold the line. Bass and drum steady eddy and the two fronting are amazing together. He almost late in the lead section and smooths it out perfectly into the last verse he is looking over at her like I got you - as always 🤗 might be one of life best hidden performances out there. And everyone talks about Tom holland in in drag being art - sorry not sorry. 💕 love is love; but art is art! High caliber conveyance of emotion here that is not easy to express in words alone. Amazing guys. This will stand the rest of time. - Keep it circulating like and upvote follow etc.
