I saw the EuroSpeed set once at a distant-from-me Walmart (Kanata Centrum, on the western outskirts of Ottawa) but I only bought the Alfa Romeo. I really regret not at least also picking up the BMW and the Mercedes-Benz. I bought three out of five of the Door Slammers but I'm missing the Porsche and the Escort. I think I could have bought the Porsche but I'm just not that big on the Urban Outlaw decos. The Cars and Donuts set was a weird one because I never saw it at the obvious places (re: Walmart and Toys R' Us or even the larger format Loblaws/Superstore/Independent/Provigo/etc... stores) but then, roughly a year after they were supposed to be in stores, they showed up at some Shoppers Drug Mart stores in Ottawa so I was able to get most of them but I think the McLaren was already gone by the time I bought them. I wonder if Pharmaprix in Quebec also gets the occasional Car Culture wave?

I had a front-of-the-peg Super experience at a Walmart in Gatineau back in 2012, a Super '67 Mustang and a basic Treasure Hunt '69 Corvette Stingray. That sort of thing never happens to me anymore (at least not with Supers, most basic Treasure Hunts these days are in the "fantasy cars, don't care" category) but, then again, I haven't found any Supers since 2019 since I just don't get to as many stores as I used to.

I’ve never seen premiums at shoppers but I don’t frequent them. Only look when I’m mailing something or grabbing a prescription. I would be pretty excited to get a find like yours there. It sucks when you look back on sets that you decided not to buy and now want. So frustrating.

What do you use to hang your carded cars? Some sort of trim ? What do you use to mount it on the wall ? Congratulations on your occupation change. Being an executive chef pays well, but a pretty stressful occupation. 👍

Thank you 😊. I have a few different display systems. I have peg board displays and also I use “ceiling strapping” for display and I have cabinets where I have turned wire coat hangers into hanging strips that i mounted to the top of the cabinets. I have a couple of build videos on the channel you could check out to see what I mean. Lots of good easy options out there. Hope this helps.

Looks like this is just another scalper. Go in to all the stores and just get the good ones just to sale on a auction site. So only way to get these cars is to pay these people a fortune. Still don't have the Super or reg. treasure hunt batmobiles. Never can find one and these scalpers wants to much for them. Be nice if these treasure hunts just go away and just have the premiums and what not that are getting expensive now.
