Ahhhhh, needed more from this interview. As in THEE BIG TIPPER! Nahhh, I need at least a 2hour conversation about his journey and his story. He is a whole pioneer in the UK entertainment scene when it comes to comedy, hopefully he shows up on more shows/podcasts. Happy to see him back on screen though! 🥰🧡🥳

Can't lie, I'm a third of the way in and this is a very poorly held interview - from the host. Intent there, execution poor. Example, starting off by asking what happened. No warm up, you could tell he's been through a lot and may not be entirely comfy. Where should he even start? He even eluded to he doesn't know where to. Too many open ended questions. Then later, you said start from the beginning and then asked like three other qs like what's happening now before giving to him to answer. Where do you want him to go? Chelsea, come on now. Poor. Let's get better. Camera, designer book and lighting doesn't make interviews bang, sorry. Big up Tips though, missed you bro.

i need at the 90's baby show to interview Tipper. In my opinion this wasnt well executed, the questions were not it. Big tipper wasnt just known for the 'valentine' song. Could do better for sure.

The problem is prople think that if you have good lighting, 4k camera and a youtube page, then you can interview. When you see people like parkinsons you understand the bar is high. You need to learn to research and develop rapport with your subject more. This is just a sad case of trying to get click/likes by using someones name and not a sincere interview at all. Very poor

I personally enjoyed this interview. Sometimes you have to be edgy to get the best results. It’s not always about trying to be buddy buddy with the person you’re interviewing. Sometimes you just need to be buddy.

You know with big tipper, i just fink what happened is, he grew up and probably had a case of cognitive dissonance. Think about it he was 15 when “valentines is coming” came out….then for years everyone just labels him as “valentines is coming” … imagine going to the shop and thats all ppl ask of you….nothing else. He probs couldn’t even get past trying to release new material let alone align himself to the new man/life cycle he was growing into. You add that to the increase of competition, the ever-growing fear of loosing status and boom you have a big mental health breakdown. I said it before but one thing I hate is when our people just lack basic general knowledge. Just because you have brain fog doesn’t qualify you to talk about mental health. If you ask 50 people have they felt like they dont know what they’re doing they will say yes…..what big tipper went through could’ve been opened up so much more.
