You had to wait awhile but it seems that it was worth it. Three trains very close together. Wow! I liked seeing the new gondolas on the end of the 2nd train. I finally could see the difference in the springs between loaded and unloaded cars. And Chessie is so cute. Love the spotted coat. Brandi and Sophie look pretty good even tho they seem to be getting older. Have a good one!

By the way, that last train is American made steels. America can do it, Americans want to work in your factory, and it's cheaper to make it here rather than China and ship it here by slow boat. You can do it, bring back manufacturing to the USA. I'll get off my soap box...thanks for braving the weather and bringing us another great video.

The Cincinnati constrictor strikes again so close to ClearingThe Crossing yet painfully a few cars shy. Freights there are like going to a mega store just a super variety of shape size and color. The new gondolas at the end of train two sadly represents a change in that the built date is no longer shown as well as the box for COTS\LUB\/IDT. It takes the fun out of tracking its history just like In the day when least cars showed the name of the firm who leased it. Alas shorter term leases, increased fleets

That was an interesting meet! The near train ends up stopping but we did get to see most of that very long manifest going the other way :) I wonder what that signalman was working on there. I don't think that houses a defect detector, more likely it operates the crossing signals.

Yes, that houses equipment for the railroad crossing. the defect detector is about a mile to the north

That's Jawtooth Railfan Hotel/Motel at 1:4,7 with a rail to bring in passengers (lol). I could drive the shuttle bus to take people to the newly renovated passenger station and other sight seeing (bars) locations. By then McDonalds will have tables at an area where you can eat a Big Mac while watching trains. Also you could have the trains slow down or stop so hotel guests could "tag" some rail cars. If you start now you could open the hotel/motel about the same time as the station they moved. Maybe Hamilton could get the President to give a speech at it's grand opening. Endless possibilities!

Great video. Some great trains in here. I don't think I have seen many of your videos filmed from this side of the tracks at this location in Hamilton. Nice change. Also liked seeing the inside of the old paper mill. I sure hope somebody can buy them and repurpose them. In the last year or so, here in St. Louis an old factory complex was turned into a dining and entertainment venue that seems to be working well. That location might possibly be a candidate for something like that. Lofts are a big deal these days too. I just hate to see great old historic buildings just waste away until all they can do is take them down. Thanks for the video.

Envious of all the train meets you see. They're rare on my little section of NS single track main here in PA. Saw my first yesterday as the northbound ducked into a siding for the south bound to pass. As a bonus, behind the NS lead loco was BNSF #742, in the old Santa Fe paint scheme and lettering. A nice gift.

wow... that is a really old factory building. We had several in Grand Rapids including the hospital I was born in torn down over the years... when I got back from Korea dad and mom drove me around and through downtown to see what all had been down. haha the old cigar/magazine store was gone too...
