God’s people are battling against discouragement-the loss of courage. In this sermon, Pastor Allen Jackson discusses three common reactions to our current culture. Christians are either pressed and distressed; unaware and unconcerned; or listening and obedient to God. He discusses the differences in these responses and encourages us to personally reflect on where we are, versus where we would like to be. He offers proactive steps we can take to move toward the Lord and refresh our courage, so we can be salt and light to our generation.

I've had people tell me how they told God what they think he should do or that they're upset what he did and just casual talk is if God is one of us and not God and it always bothers me because he is so precious and the creator of this Earth that we walk on and we should cherish that gift and there's nothing that God can do wrong because he is perfect and that never changes.

Your story about Noah building the ark is so true. We must do what God tells us to do whether or not it is is comfortable. I was very uncomfortable when a woman was shouting curses at me. Because I had mercy and sang Power in the Blood and Onward Christian Soldiers to her. I told her to get delivered cuz all that demon wanted to do was kill her and take her to hell with him. She was silent. People around me were smiling. I saw that I was a witness to them too

When that is completed, Jesus hands the kingdom over to God the father and then the Great White Throne Judgement. I just want to say, my spiritual life in JESUS, is a continuous feast, it's been some yrs since i gave up self, even exercise, worldly events, vacations and all those things that feed the flesh even a mate and it was required of me to give them up and to trust GOD for everything. @@rabbitears9446 Your not crazy first of all, you just could be in a period of change where people can be separated from you so you can grow, how FATHER GOD wants You to, no distractions, no temptations, but just You and FATHER, JESUS and HOLY SPIRIT, Amen. I spend time with FATHER every day, HE taught me to have a balance in my life. Time for HIM and time for me to do my chores work etc. He also told me to get books or diaries to pour out whats on my heart, and i do and have been doing that near every day for yrs. I try to make an entry early in the morning when i am woken up all different times of the early morning hrs and again be4 i sleep. If i am led to Pray or do Warfare i do and then i write after. HOLY SPIRIT will always give me what to Pray when i need it, so they are not just any kind of prayers. I was called to War against all Evil and Wickedness and also to Pray for those who need it, Amen. Because i know that all things belong to FATHER GOD, i am quick to give and to help those in need. I also come with HOLY SPIRIT gifts, where i get to see those who work for the Dark lord, they hate me with a passion, because i LOVE JESUS our KING and SAVIOR, who gives me the Power to trample them under feet, Amen. Anyone can Pray, but there are Powerful Prayers and gentle prayers and don't forget the spirit realm is full of principalities, powers of the darkness of this world and spiritual wickedness in high places, so this life isn't a walk in the park and we do not War against flesh and blood, but Evil spirits, Amen. I hope this helps, don't forget the Full Armour of GOD, it works better than earth weapons, ask HOLY SPIRIT, You can command Your Sword to do what ever You need to like take down Goliath and Your Shield can hide You or protect You or be used for a Battle Rammer, this is what HOLY SPIRIT can teach You, Amen. Your not weak and alone and You have the MIGHTY ARMY of FATHER GOD, to Protect You to, so don't Fear, thats the Enemies job, Amen. Scripture Isaiah 54:17 No Weapon formed against You shall prosper and every tongue that rise up against you in Judgement shall be condemned, for this is Your heritage in CHRIST JESUS, Amen. Decades ago, after I had received the Holy Spirit, there was a teaching I heard which said God was our buddy. I thought that was a true teaching. One night as I started my evening pray, I addressed God in a very casual way , as though we were equals. It was as though I was shoved backwards a few feet from where I had been kneeling. Somehow I knew God was not pleased with the way I had addressed Him. I sat there quite a while knowing I had been rebuked, and why. I pondered the new teaching I had heard and realized it was completely wrong. I crawled on hands and knees back to my former position and place. I asked Him to forgive me for my lack holy fear in my address. I love the Lord. I love our conversations together. I love the way He teaches and challenges me. But we are in no way buddies. He is my sovereign Lord and King. To talk with Him , know He hears and answers me is my greatest comfort and joy. But we are not equals. I am also thankful He is not. He is a mysterious God, and at times I fear where He has brought me, yet I never fear that He will leave me to work it out myself. His power in my life is my sure foundation.

@@marthafrazier8724 when you are saved 1 Corinthians 15 vs 1 - 4, you are saved that is Gods gift to us he does not take his gift back which is everlasting life with him. If you sin you must repent and change your ways, which can take time but with prayer it is not difficult. We are still all sinners but we are now saved by the blood of the lamb. Keep listening to as many sermons by different pastors like Andy wood, Robert Breaker, Jack Hibbs and JD farag there are many others. I listen to all I can, this increases your knowledge and understanding, hope this helps, God Bless

This was in Matthew, before christ paid for all sin on the cross for salvation. That parable isn't about those who will be raptured. The oil and it's meaning is what is important here. The thing we have to understand is that salvation or making it to heaven comes from the belief in Jesus and what he did on the cross and not of works (ie: any good you think you are doing) so salvation is for all. Works are not required. BUT we also know doing what God wants is not a "vanity", we can still try our best to be pleasing to the lord and he does not see that as vanity. But please be sure of your own salvation and comfort others in the truth. To say a behavior is required to get into heaven is saying Jesus died for no reason and didn't save us through that act. It's wither all Jesus doing it so he gets glory, or you add to his words. Remember that anything in the Bible before the crucifixion is under different pretenses for salvation and behavior
