BIG TUNA caught from the beach drone fishing

in this episode I team up with ‪@thequarterlifecrisis4003‬ and we set out to target his first land based tuna, not only are we going to target a long tail tuna from land we hav chosen the beach as our location these fish traditionally are out of casting range, so our delivery technique is going to be via the drone locating and presenting the bait right in front on the tuna using the Sky-Rigger attachment from Sea Ulcer. If you haven't seen this technique before it is an absolute rush from sighting the fish to chasing them down the beach right up to watching them eat a bait from above provides an element to fishing that is hard to beat. Did you know there's a button on the side of your TLD reel that turns OFF the clicker? We typically only use the clicker as an audible alarm with the reel is in freespool or trolling. Once you hook up and start battling the fish, turn the clicker OFF.

We lowered it into the water and the tuna eats then the clip releases line I believe on this occasion though we had the line pull out just before the hook up and it northern nsw

Thanks I have been leaning towards leaving the clicker on so that the viewers can hear runs from the fish better the rod is silent otherwise everyone loves a screaming drag but yes sounds crap on retrieval

Also with the clicker on it helps stop birds nest when flying the bait out at high speeds with the drone keeps the slack out between the drone and angler also 🤌
