Evo's still dead mate, it just rolls! haha You should have pulled the spark plugs cranked the motor over, and dried out the plugs. Guarantee they're pretty fouled. Had the same issue with my turbo Miata. Stoked to see it run soon though.

So, my plan for today was to put my refreshed vvti 1j on my cd009, but it needs to have the twin disk and adapter plate installed which is a lot of work. I’m tired as hell right now because I stayed up over night and I wasn’t really feeling the whole thing today. But now that I just watched this video, I’m super anxious about finishing the car and getting it tuned so I’m on my way outside haha

I’ve been running 5% on all my cars for the past 4 years and 35% on the whole windshield and it’s honestly not that bad. It takes like a week to get used to and then it’s fine. And this isn’t a hate comment, more of a constructive one. Keep it up man! Hope to see you in Pittsburgh again!

The reason larger injectors require a tune, is because the ECU doesn't "know" how much fuel it is actually sending at any given time, the only thing the ECU knows is what duty cycle, pulse rate etc to use for the given parameters. What this basically means that if you're running injectors that flow twice as much as the stock injectors and an untuned ECU, then basically they will be spitting out twice as much fuel as stock.

Even with the fuel pump relay out the pump will still run. Toss in stock injectors it will run If your pulse dampener is passing fuel out the vacuum port the diaphragm inside it f’d Pro tip is to not run any tees in the vacuum line from the intake manifold to the fuel pressure regulator. That’s the most important vacuum line on the car. Without it there is no fuel pressure compensation well under boost
