YES! I've wanted to build one of your printers for a long time, and the Panda mini seemed perfect, but now this RC150 seems even better! Can't wait!

Very excited to see the fully enclosed version!! I think a cost-effective alternative to a V0 is a great idea, and I WILL build one of these, once the backlog clears. 🙂

Blind joints mean you are really dependent on the extrusion provider to cut them super square. From what I understand, that's super easy for them to do, but it's the only downside I can see.

I am ultra impressed by your innovation. The RC150 looks to be an excellent printer. Would you ever consider something like the Print It Forward program that the Voron community has. Would be an interesting way to get more people to possibly get into 3D printing using some of your designs.

Cool, I have an idea about using that as a printing bed want to know how flat can we expect these things to be.. i guess it is as flat as the rock cutter that has sliced it. A good and easy indication would be to measure it for thickness around the perimeter..

The Z is to complicated... If you use two motors why not use lead screws. Much more simpler, not so many belts and pulleys and printed parts... but this is just me rambling...

Leadscrews make banding on the prints.
@daveh08 ай бұрын
I don't see it as more complex, but I haven't had great experience with the backlash in my own belted z - it's not as precise, though that could be my (unrelated) design.

one of the benefits of belted Z is there is no blacklash. Leadscrews can have backlash
