I would like to see another new map, but I doubt we'll see an entire new one while they are still working on game modes that require their own specific little maps.

I feel like people really underestimate just how incredible the foliage update could be. Every normal pine tree replaced with a prehistoric one. New food for herbivores, new trees to climb, a literally whole new world.

I think semi-aquatic Critters would be great, a more friendly way of teaching newbies that the water isn't 100% safe rather than them finding out the hard way with an adult sarco snatching them up. You could do smaller crocodilians like Goniopholis and amphibians like Eryops so they're visually distinct from baby sarcos.

A rework of the quest system is really due. There is no real reason to keep playing an animal once you reach adulthood. And with half the server hogging IC at any given time there isnt enough Engagement on the rest of the map from PvP alone. And colllecting turtleshells aint it.

​​@@SlowpokeSlowbro2any form of overpacking is the issue 2 people playing as herbi and carni is nothing compared to a horde of a bunch of dinos that go over the slot limits. i feel like people hate on mixpacks when the minor ones never cause an actual issue and the diet divide is arbitrary at best. edit: the main reason i disagree for letting 'realistic' groupings happen is that gameplay > realism. the devs do a good job of adding realistic features but a dino group seeming realistic is no excuse to advocate for game imbalance, not to mention it's not impossible for an herbivore and carnivore to tag team a target in reality either, just unlikely.

Larger dinosaurs actually had soft pads on their feet that made them almost silent when walking, especially tyrannosaurus. So it would be more accurate to give them very quiet footsteps.

I think for gameplay purposes having running be loud and trotting be audible from a distance (but not as loud) is fine. Walking and crouching should definitely be nearly silent though.

things that i really want is ofc foliage rework, make it more dense in some areas. making it easier for big dinos to ambush their prey. AND lower crouching. right now you stay the same hight (one some idk all of em) when crouching and standing, i'd also love to see an ambush mode for the bigger dinos where they consume less stamina for a few seconds after crouching for a few seconds. this has ofc a cooldown.

With Alderon saying he wouldn't repeat the mistake of releasing a pack without 4 playable characters, I believe we'll have Tylo, Leed and two mysterious characters. I hope Matt clarifies this doubt as soon as the new package is released after the release of the microraptor, it would be strange to have a package with 3 characters.

Maaaybe, but the problem there is that they've made it clear that the base 10, the 14 stretch goal characters, and the 15 perk characters are included in the "buy all dinosaurs" base game pack. So if they do introduce a 4th character to fill in that slot, it'd be a DLC character most likely. But because it'd most likely be a DLC character, I doubt it'd be bundled with them because of what they've said and implied. That is, unless they make the bundle slightly more expensive to compensate. I think it's more likely that it'll be a 3 bundle with a reduced price compared to the others, but we'll see.

How were there 148 people in a 100 player server?? There are some cool mods on there but they don't feel like my dinos. AERIAL A.I. If you think about it the sky is as empty as the sea's apart from those pesky moths. Imagine flocks of flyers scattering when spooked from lakes and bushes , mass migration flocks crossing the sky's and even Ocean feeding frenzies. That would be awesome 👍

I agree AI dinosaurs are needed. But playing as a carnivore should be harder than an herbivore and starvation should at least be a possibility. Being a carnivore was easy when you could eat from the corpses

I'm actually excited for the audio update, especially for calls. Its pretty immersion-breaking when a large dinosaur is broadcasting in render distance but you cannot hear anything. Plus, the lack of sound makes it harder to find other players. Unless you are in a hotspot, the game is rather quiet. It also makes it harder to find other players. It would be nice to hear the calls of other players from a fair distance way.

I really really hope that developers will invest into the permadeath mode. I honestly don't care much about the solo aspect, just encourage people, that want to play together, to pick the same species. Make it a proper survival mode that has some similarities with the other big Dino game but compared to it, respects your time.

My wish would be a full Allo TLC with Cera and Stego getting a minor TLC alongside it Personally I feel like Allo would benefit most from a major TLC getting a new model to better fit its new abilities like a grab. Also with new audio changes coming soon having an Allo ambush n grab would be amazing while still having its bleed potential. Honestly don’t play enough of Cera or Stego but I think Cera mostly needs new abilities with Stego needing a model update with maybe a new ability or two Would love to see an update or updates having these Dino’s getting TLC’s hopefully before the very anticipated Micro/terrain update

The ocean needs currents to increase travel speed and reduce travel times. As far as any AI additions I'd recommend to add schools of AI fish, more or less a giant ball you can bite at and get a fish. They have big HP pools, and can be anything from simple to very agile and hard to catch, I don't care which.

so, by the theory we won't see micro raptor til the end of the year with the foilage rework, and they don't "want" to release another dino before a bundle is done. I have to disagree with that, by this theory we are gonna go almost a year without a new dino? nah, i don't think thats gonna be a thing. Even if they dont' release "bundle" dinos, they are still gonna add pay wall dinos, and thats fine with me i dont' mind funding a game i love. When it comes to releaseing dinos from another pack... i think they could, maybe the don't want to but i wouldn't be mad if they did. But at the end of the day its just theory, seems like even the release date on some of these things are theory. So with that being said no harm in being excited for another great year in PoT
