I love how Deinonychus has faster, more reactive animations and that Laten's jaw moves with every bark in the 2 call. Ceratosaurus feels more feral, which is exactly how it sounds.

Dead dino bodies should turn into bones when all the meat is gone. Would make groups with mixed diets easier to manage. I think its actually a good idea and easy change to make

I hope in the future they update critters so abilities work on them. They're great so far, but hunting them would be a whole lot more satisfying with abilities such as: . Venom having effect: allowing venom creatures to bite a critter once, then just stalk the critter until it tires out and becomes immobile. . Grabs and thrashes: As larger predators being able to snatch up critters and thrash them about in your jaws/ claws.

They gotta update the HUD the heath/stam bar, food and water. It’s out dated and takes up a lot of the screen. Also all the pop ups on screen when you enter and leave a area, also the option to customize our HUD would be nice

I really like how the devs are giving some of the older dinos that got remodels new animations. It always bothered me seeing those really good models have the weird stiff animations from their original appearances. It's a small feature but it really makes the animals feel more alive and just more visually appealing overall.

Wanted to mention that while testing I noticed the broadcast and aggressive calls are much louder in the PTB. I could hear a rex's broadcast call from nearly the edge of the minimap. I noticed footsteps were much more audible as well as critters were making loud, idle calls.

I wish during rain/storms there were caves in which dinos could hide to prevent getting wet, there are some already but they’re tiny and the water falls through them anyway. Most players probably don’t care about this but small details like that matter a lot more to people who play in realism servers.

All the updated call animations are good, but the Ceratosaurus alert call is doing WAY TOO MUCH 💀. Question about unreal engine, will it make my PC lag more? It already does sometimes in Juniper deathmatch but will the lag be drastically more noticeable?

Sucks that so many people complain about mobile. I've already got into this game (I mean I really love it) as a mobile player and just taking it away from us would be unfair. Especially since some people paid for the dinos, then a refund would be needed. And some people say "just upgrade", it really would be a waste of money and seem stupid to buy another PC just to play one game. And then buy the game "again" (because you bought all the dinos on mobile).

I've talked to the devs and they said their game only properly functions on mobile and Iphones in the $400 and above range, so if someone can only afford a cheaper device don't bother with downloading POT. I just think they need a separate mobile version of POT other games like LOL, Poppy Playtime, FNAF, are making mobile friendly versions of their games so players won't need a high-end phone to play.

I can already see that the Mega Light function maybe will not be super noticeable in the main game due to basically no lights in Forest exept what you mentioned BUT i can see it for Mods. Imagien the new Glowplume has Megalights build in, that would give the "Glow effect" a more realistic look due to the light shining in a Realistic way towards the ground, trees, trough bushes and all over the skin itself giving it not that Liniar light only on the dinosaut itself, instead a light that has impact on the Enviroment.

Devices that should be able to run it struggle to do so now, I know before the nightstalker update, a mobile device of mine ran it fluently like a fresh PC out of the box. Compare it today, and it's too different. I definitely do think that they should be separate because it's really ruining things for everyone's different platforms. As another example, one's performance of a high quality laptop or pc doesn't compare to console unless you're paying killing bills for internet. Imo, it just doesn't work very well. Yes, it's playable but it ruins experience.

The new food system is a killer, if you run with multiple mid tier and above carnis your best chance is to run to hotspots where all the mix packs go if you can't find players around the map, I've noticed certain areas of the map having zero players nearly consistently since the critter update, even well populated areas like savanna and snake gully, they could atleast up the food critters give so it doesn't take 15 critters to fill half an allos stomach...

I love how it sounds so otherworldly, yet sounds like a bird in some calls (for me, I especially love its broudcast. Sounds so alien-like and is perfect for something weird looking like a Hatz) But yeah, the other creatures could use a sound rework. Especially Stego imo. It was like the devs had only 3 sounds for Stego and decided to use those sounds for all of its moves lol. Each sound it makes is literally a slightly edited version of the same sound lmao

I would really love if the emotes do something more than just an animation, the eye emote for example, would’ve be great if it makes you seen better at night, or seeing clearly, or seen the footprints paths clearly, or something that helps you seen preys on your surroundings. Or the smell emote would make you seen the particles of others near you. Or each animal has it very more unique ability. Would be such great addition to it

Completely agree. Some modded dinos sort of do this with grazing animations, but it'd be great to be officially expanded. Like it's been asked since the dawn of time for the shake emote to reduce wetness.

Is the engine update why things have started looking weird on the live release? Ever since like a month back distant objects and trees started looking like ass no matter how i tweak the settings and it's been bothering me (with flickering tree foliage and other visual issues) I just LOVE these new animations though, they're so vibrant! 🥰✨ Love that the whole body is talking now, instead of just focusing on the head 🎶 And the blood splatter on critters is brilliant - gonna be a godsend when trying to track them through the undergrowth 👀

Critters should give more food than they do rn; at least until ai dinos come out;😅 especially for the mid size dinos I can understand the rex and Titan but some of the critters are at least half the torso of the dino in size and only give a 4th stomach restore also a bb rex and Titan should be able to fill on one or two large critters increasing the number required as growth progresses. rex allo and Titan should be able to pick up and carry Any critter smaller than the aggro turtles bc filling the nest with food on Titan is nearly impossible if the nest is far from a high pop area

I saw the food value's of the critters in my server settings, they are set extremely low, with most food values being set to 25 or under. In simple terms, a food value of 25 is enough to fill the Deinon and Laten no problem. I had to set critter food values on my server to 300+ in order for a single critter to be able to fill the likes of a Dasp. A rex and a Titan still gotta hunt 2-3, so saying they have little food amount is an understatement lol

@@derpy_jit is extremely low. I was playing as rex baby and I nearly starved to death. Even though I was catching them a lot. I would have if I didn’t changed my diet. And my baby rex is very slow + critters just tail chase you always. So It’s so hard to catch critters as a baby rex. I think it is much easier for smaller dinos to catch them because they are fast. And when I eat them they give ridiculously small amount of food 2-3? More like 10-20. you can’t even hardly see a difference after you eat. Most of them are 1 bite even when I was a baby. And when I actually hunt more critter, the food I ate earlier have already disappeared. Adults can hunt but babies cannot.
