I don’t usually comment. But this video is so bomber it deserves all the votes I can give it. The individual videos with every minute detail are great but having one video that ties it all together can fill in so many gaps and help so many people. It is so difficult to find how each step transitions to the next step the way that this video sums it up.

This is great! Seeing at all together helps to point out that each detailed video was one part of the system. Like when you are looking at a diagram and it says something like, "back-up system not shown for clarity." Teaching myself, its amazing how much time it takes just to get to the thing I want to practice. Set it all up, get in place, and then as soon as you start you realize that you forgot something, didn't realize how much space you actually need, or that you forgot to account for the "back-up system".

The "classroom" instruction that this series has mostly included has been great, but actually going out and watching you do it as you would in real life is a whole new angle and is INCREDIBLY helpful. Great video. I started gym climbing a year ago. I don’t think I will be big walling but it’s helpful to see these skills in action and in detail. I don’t have any outdoor locations to climb without traveling. Seeing you guys use the gear is great to see to spark ideas and thoughts that can be practiced (maybe) in the gym. First time outdoors will be with more experienced folks but I appreciate the content so that I have at least seen it or can practice it in a gym type environment. Thanks

personally, i think it is always better to learn by seeing A-Z and then having specific break out videos on portions you want to learn more about, and be able to ask questions directly to those videos. so, id say this is the right format. this is coming from someone who hasn't climbed a big wall ever, and has very minimal climbing experience. this was a very easy way to learn-- to the point that i would almost be dangerous in terms of overconfidence.

This "real deal" video was really nice, I could see some of the things that Jeremiah was thinking about when aiding that you didn't put into other videos. Maybe because he does it without thinking or because the videos were already too long for KZbin. Either way, I think this works great with conjunction of the other "theory" videos. I’d like another real life hour long video but on some c3/a2-3 stuff if possible full lead and all. I did city park aid 2 years ago in just under a half hour leap frogging a black totem and a .2/.3 off set cam. That being said it doesn’t take much skill to do so. I’d love to see a legit hard aid lead filmed and explained because it does not exist to my knowledge. Appreciate y’all with this series I definitely picked up a lot of extra knowledge throughout!

I agree and will see what type of video stuff we can get. This would be a great area of where the “how to contribute” material can come from as well. It’s hard to shoot said video on similar terrain but could try and get some examples at places like Devils Tower etc.

Hello! This is the first video of yours I’ve seen and I am so glad! I’ve been reading about this but to find a video to put it together is amazing. I am also excited I can go back now and watch the individual videos with this comprehensive one in mind. I’ve never climbed a big wall but am working toward it and was getting super overwhelmed by trying to imagine everything I read about. This has eased my concerns by making it more manageable through good instruction. I haven’t looked at your video archives yet, but I would like a video on rapping down because I hear that that’s where many accidents and rescues come from.

I've been watching this channel for over a year now and I'm not even a climber. Aside from a few indoor climbs I have no experience but I have recently decided to start climbing with the intention of eventually going up the cap. Just so overwhelming.
