Stunning images! I love Amy's comparison to waves and flames....they both roar! The pictures bring back thousands of memories, some where I had to look up to see the tops of the waves. I grew up aboard my Dad's boat. He was a skipper on his beloved "Sundance" sport fishing in the Pacific Ocean off of Westport Washington; I grew up loving every (sometimes harrowing) moment; love the sea! Of course absolutely no comparison to your remarkable bravery and adventure. I am 71 yrs old so in early days we had charts and bouy bells to follow but only rarely got caught in big seas/fog.I only watch your channel, just can't do anyone else. I'm not sure how I'll manage when you reach home...Thank you.

As a 75 year old avid sailor, who has spent many of my years at sea in all kinds of crafts, and every experienced most kinds of storm you can imagine; however, I can only offer to you guys my sincere and deepest respect for your “journey” and adventure that couldn’t be verbalized; a testament to your great seamanship and photography and direction. Your presentation itself is exemplary and worthy of an equal to many documentaries from the majors. Well done indeed and thank you for allowing me (and everyone here) to enjoy every moment of that epic voyage, while personally bringing back long past memories and wry smiles. Thank you.

When I sold my first little sailboat a couple of years ago I cried and felt sad I did things like varnishing I didn’t need to do as she was already sold , but I cared for the boat and wanted to pamper her as I knew we was parting company. I felt guilty selling her like I was cheating on a woman I loved, my real girlfriend didn’t get it but now with our bigger boat she finally does. Yeah so I felt it resonate too during this film I’ll call it a film because of the quality and what about that mood music spot on

The still picture of the translucent blue 0:44 wave with the dark cloud behind it is spectacular!!! I think it is the most beautiful picture of a 0:44 wave I have ever seen. You should win a award for it!!! Agree with others; best sailing You tube channel. You really captured it!! You both have such a stoic nature! I have sailed briefly in 40 knot winds it is exhausting. The sound of the wind and howling can drive you mad. Amy just sits there and says …”I love this boat!!” You are channeling Joshua Slocum. “ I saw weather coming and I Took in some reefs”

That was so real, the sleep deprivation, bruises that you have no idea how you got them, wet or at best damp oilskins but then the exhilaration of surfing down breaking seas mixed with an element of anxiety. Matt, Amy, I don’t have words to explain how I feel about watching you sailing these storms. Of course, this is nothing about me. I must say that respect for you heaves in my body. These were periods of life threatening winds and waves to a land lubber like me. We watched you work and ride through them, tweaking the boat, surviving by your wits, will and endurance. I could see and almost feel your fatigue, the stress and strain. When Amy smiled, I literally sighed with relief. God bless you, be with you and protect you. May he fortify you with knowledge, wisdom, understanding, strength and endurance. Thank you for sharing this…from east Tennessee.

You knew what you were getting into and faced it bravely and realistically. You commented on the faith you had in your vessel and each other.
