I'm going to build one of those sailing tenders so that I can use it as a toy to sail only. I'm going to also have a hard tender and plan on stacking the two of them on top of each other at the transom. Yes, getting an OC Tender sailing version which would be great but I want something a bit different and that involves me getting two different boats. I love that carbon mast and how the sail slides up it.

I know people have to make a living, including the use of crab and lobster pots but it really is time some rules were introduced ensuring pots and nets etc were made clearly visible, especially at night. I've encountered a couple of problems myself with pots only bearing the tiniest of black marker buoys

I really appreciate that you give us info on your routes. So many other pages don't give you much info to follow along.

Have either of you read Hal Roth's book "After 50,000 miles" about his circumnavigation in the 60's or 70's? It's a good narrative about circumnavigating before the internet, cell phones, Sat weather, or GPS. Thanks for the video. Excellent as always.

Had to turn off the other screen because the quality demands your 100% attention. And taking the day off to go dingy sailing❤

Salcombe is a beautiful roomy anchorage. The sailing is top notch and the drone views provide panorama. You've tempted me to price homes in the areas you visit, just for the fun of it. Thanks for sharing. Happy 2025 🥳

It's important NOT to use stainless bolts for the prop anode. The stainless will corode the zinc so fast it will fall of in a couple of weeks/months. Use regular galvanised bolts and they will last at least a year.

Well looking forward to the bikini again. Thanks your a total inspiration. Now got my yacht. Just a little refurb, guessing about a year to 18 months. Thank you for the most inspirational and real channel. PS. What self steering do you use?

Merry Christmas and happy new year. Greetings from Ireland. We sailed Dublin to Isles of Scilly and down to the Villaine river in Brittany on our 3 weeks holiday. John (54) took early retirement so we are looking forward to not being confined to our big trips only being in a short block of time ❤. Planning Atlantic France & Iberia in 2025. Safe sailing ❤

Another first class episode from my all-time favourite sailing couple. The way you two sail together as a 'team-in-unison', the joy you exhibit for (almost!) every moment of the actual sailing part of your journey, your enthusiasm for exploring the beautiful natural wonders of the places that you visit, and the way that you simply love life, and each other ... none of that is lost on any of us. We viewers all see it in your eyes, we hear it in your voices, and we feel every moment of it with you. And that all only makes us want for more ... 🙏🏻

This question has come up before. They said they have plenty of amp-hrs thanks to new solar and a little more motor time with the short passages. They prefer the auto helm for the short sails.

I'm so absolutely thrilled you managed to get to St Kilda, amazing . 👏. After all those low pressure systems pouring into Scotland for weeks to get such a clear day followed by the majestic fog rolling over the landscape must have been almost a dream come true for this part of your adventure. Epic and thanks for sharing.

“ But that’s OK. “ love the attitude. I’d bet you’d love a sail on the west side of Greenland and perhaps a window of opportunity through the northwest passage? Albeit a lot more isolated. Thanks again for sharing the adventure. Cheers 🥂
