After a few days off for the holidays, we are back! I hope you had a great holiday season too 💗. Eradicator Turn 0 is a play that isn't super consistent but when it works it feels too pleasing lmao. Eradicator should go in the side deck btw. Until Rumpel Teufel arrives in Phantom Nightmare you can use in Main Deck Dimensional Barrier (wasn't too effective VS Rescue/Fire King/Unchained) and/or Eradicator or Dogmatika Punishment which would be an budget route to not having to carry so many copies of Chaos Angel. The deck it's very difficult to master so i'm pretty sure there's more effective lines to play the deck better than the showed in the replays. Sorry about that. PS: Te quiero mucho, Lady Labrynth.

So I just want to mention (before watching the video btw) that Labrynth mirrors with Transaction Rollback are potentially going to be really funny. There is no official ruling yet about whether or not you can use Rollback to copy another copy trap to copy something else (copy traps are stuff like Fake Feather and Trap of Darkness, but more interestingly, cards like Fusion Duplication), and 1 week ago, Edopro was still unable to handle the interaction (=crash) due to the possibility of infinite loops.

With the current infinite loops rules you would be forced to select a trap that doesn't start a loop, if you cannot then the trap resolves without effect.

You have to read those trap cards. They have things that you have to meet in order to use them. Think about the trap they copied in the video. It was Big Welcome Labrynth which special summons a monster and then returns a monster to the hand. The requirements to even use the traps you mentioned is fake feather which need a blackwing to even use the card so Transaction Rollback would still copy that part. Even Trap of Darkness would need you to be lower than 3000 LP or at 3000 LP. You have better chances of just running this in Dinomorphia. Transaction Rollback is a power trap but it is a risky trap as well. It might help some trap decks but i think it helps Dinomorphia more. The new Labrynth monster that will come out will help Labrynth more especially when they are going to add something else with it. In Labrynth this card will be at 1 at best. The only problem is that no one will use this card with the first effect because of the high price cost for just a normal trap. If it said any trap card for it's first effect then this card would be crazy good but it doesn't say it that it takes the cost away from the card it is copying. So if a trap has a cost then you have to meet that cost as well.

The more Lab changes, the more it stays the same. The new cards just make it better at doing what it's already doing. That halved LP for Transaction Rollback means you have to be on point with your defensive plays though.

With Big Welcome Lab going to 2 in the OCG when do we think they'll reveal the missing monster on the card's art? LoD or in Infinite Forbidden? Though the other potential monster is definitely a lvl 6 to complete that set... really hoping the archetype gets some sort of Extra deck cards eventually so it feels complete.

As a player of Labrynth since its first reveal in OCG and also liking more the build with Set-Up and Back Jack (similar to the Dinh Kha Bui's one, even without extravagance), I love this trap although vs aggro decks halving lp multiple times is dangerous (Dinomorphia slightly happy, although would be happier with real support to make deck less meme) Instead of limiting labrynth cards, why dont they ban EEV (prob Dbarrier)? That's beyond me

The balance problem with Lab is Lady's ability to set generic traps and Lovely's ability to recycle them. As long as this recursion remains a thing, Konami won't be able to print sick normal traps without breaking the game. Hence why they will go for the engine hits and not the traps. Transaction Rollback and Rumpel Teufel just adds fuel to the fire at this point. I'm willing to wager Lady to 1 and BWL to 1-2 at some point.

@@miotakamiya Konami has killed many decks before, and Lab has been around for quite some time. I'd also hate to see it go, don't take me wrong, but the deck is bonkers rn. They cannot hit a whole genre of trap cards just because 1 deck can abuse them so easily, that would be unfair for other decks. From a design perspective, the problem is the lab engine, and it is mainly Lady who enables all of this, along with the welcome traps/arianna who bring her out so easily. You can't limit all of those, so they will just get the main problem, who is lady, imo.

Not even most Lab players. They can print the craziest traps in the world and nobody is gonna play any of them because they're too slow. There would have to be another card like Imperm that is so generically good and immediately useful for other decks to even consider it.

Also, daruma was in every single list that topped at YCS bologna, so that piece of statement is false.

Esa misma duda la había visto en el grupo de Facebook, y lo que recuerdo a grosso modo (y difiero) es que el nibiru va intentar resolver hasta donde pueda y para haber token primero debe ya estar presente nibiru en campo

The current ruling is that the card will resolve as far as it can. Meaning that it will wipe the board but since it was sent to the graveyard as cost, it did not summon itself nor a token if that makes sense

I mean at the end of the day Lab is still a trap deck making it inherently slower than other decks and forcing it to built around mitigating that. Also even before Big Welcome got hit to 2 in the OCG the deck was already starting to fall off because of Fire Kings which is a super tough match up for them
