Rhins of Galloway has good rock marks all the way from corsewall lighthouse to the mull of Galloway. Rougher ground best for the wrasse.

Help please,,, i want to fish for seabass off the cliffs, they are usually 2,5kg... I have to reel them up a cliff 100 meters. I googled all day, 'strongest reel' etc tec. Can't get any results. Does anyone know which is the best fixed spool reel for reeling up fish out of water up cliffs? Ideally around 485 - 500grams to match my rod. Thank You in advance Guy's.

Hi Dales, I couldn’t really say, for reeling a bass 100 metres up a cliff, if it was me I would try find a place that has better access for landing fish maybe? As for the reel, I know that the Penn Spinfisher 5000 gets a good write up however, definitely worth a look i reckon mate, sorry I could be of any more help,
