This was the album that I first heard of Sekou. I have never been so blown away by drumming as I was with the Thornley album. Such amazing drumming going on here. Glad to see you back in the band.

Check out ian and sekous project "thornley", it's like big wreck but more straight forward rock, they have some good stuff and this is from that project.

That first stage was little bitty, then I’m suddenly fighting agoraphobia! Nice bit of editing, but perhaps more impressive is the consistency of playing that allowed the edit to be almost seamless. Hats off to the sound tech. as well.

Holy peaches. Is this closer to how you originally wrote the drum parts before recording it with Thornley (I saw the video where you talk about how you had to track the drums in that back-assward "overdub the cymbals" way)?
@FortyDeuce2 жыл бұрын
Hey my man, sorry for the late reply but just seeing this question… honestly cannot remember what I’d wanted to play from all those years ago, but certainly fills that incorporate both drums AND cymbals would be more along the lines of how I prefer to play. So yes, kinda😂
@peaelare2 жыл бұрын
what is that controller to the right of your floor toms? is that your IEM mix or is that for triggers/gating? seemed it was registering inputs.
