I have acorns. I try to keep them raked and bagged before my yard guys get here. They fall on the patio area. Hurts like heck to step on those things barefoot. Boy, have I learned about oak trees. Including having allergies. You did a great job chewing all that stuff up.

I don't know why but I keep coming back and watching this video because it is satisfying and my mower cannot do this, it's just a 20HP cub cadet lawn tractor and stuff like this would ruin it. I've hit big stuff sometimes and it made that grinding sound. Your machine must be a commercial grade mower.

The blades are just really thick. I've actually never bent a blade but I have gouged them pretty good on impact with hard objects like metal or rocks.

I do that so that I can keep the deck clean. It would seem that leaving them on would prevent grass from building up in there but it doesn't. When they're off you can blow all parts of the deck off after every cut. When they're on you can't.

I had a quick question that I wanted to shoot atcha. That foot pedal on your right, is that your E- stop, or deck lift pedal? I've never had the opportunity to pilot a zero-turn machine. To me, that would be the forward drive foot feed. (Accelerator pedal if you will). Thanks for posting!

Don't you love all that dust, hard to get away from it. But the chute blocker helps some because you don't have keep running over it again and again. Block it and run over it grind it up, then open the chute and blow it away, better then having to chase it, I learned the hard way too. Not rubbing it in, no harm meant.

Raymond Farwell Yea it really will cut at 16 mph. Not a super nice cut mind you. I did it in one of these videos. Oh, it's called "Cutting at full speed, in slow motion" Or something like that. But your are right, it has a seatbelt for a reason. First time I tried mowing at 16 mph I did hit a bump and got bucked out of the seat and on to the armrest. Scared me real good. I honestly rarely even shift into high range. Although I just did it last week when it suddenly started to downpour. I flew back to the truck!

Think a plastic bag and a rake would had been the appropriate way to get the pine cones. And as for the palm limbs. The veins on the palms are pretty tough also. I would not recommend using your mower as a mulcher for such things. I would think after this is done you will need to buy new blades. Maybe that is your intent in doing this video to pay for new blades. I dono but not a good idea for others.. Pick stuff up like that..

whoa yea the scags really are beasts, but there stand ons are not too good on hills. those pine cones are INDESTRUCTABLE. one time i was bush hogging out in the woods with a 100 torque bush hog with a 200 hp tractor, and the pine cones came out unscathed! dont ever try mulching them. sounds bad, looks bad, and beats up the deck and blades. huge fan of your channel, i dont know why 50 people dont like your video. how much do you charge for a 1/4 acre of regular grass? trying to do market research for my start up business. you should wear eart and eye protection, recent research studies are linking hearing damage from loud noise such as power equipment to HEART DISEASE, which i dont think is worth the risk.

Wow! I'm going to have to look up that study you mentioned. As for pricing for the standard 1/4 acre, most lawn services, around here anyway, charge about $30-$35 per cutting or $100-$120 year round monthly agreement.

You should never wear ear phones but rather ear protection. When you can't hear very well in 10 years then you'll know. Obviously you aren't concerned about the damage; wear and tear on the blades. Also with all of the dust you should have a dust mask on. May not be as much fun but your health won't suffer as much.
