Perfect George, I'm looking at fishing the fens for pike and Zander early in the new year so I'm suitably inspired by your latest vid! I subscribe so I've been hoping you'd do one soon. Cracking fish aswell. I know what you mean about being out there night fishing aswell, can't beat it fella!

Great video George - I intend to catch my first zander this year on the fens. I'm not looking for a monster just to get one in the net for the first time. Any tips would be greatly appreciated! A lovely video again - thanks!

Great video! Thanks for sharing. Greys Prowla do a low resistance lead clip system too, 5 in a box complete with large buffer beads. Tight lines and Happy new year!

jammy git, I love those rods, I have been looking out for them on ebay, there very sort after and even more that mick retiring now. good video and great to see u pike and zander fishing mr day. hope u can start putting more videos out again in 2015

Hey man a couple of great zander there. Do you ever get out the march way of cambs if so would be good to spend a day fishing. Only this last few weeks I have gone back to course fishing after years of just carping. Brings back my childhood haha. Anyway nice fish mate. Tight lines

God i started following you 2 years ago as i lived near you before you went to brighton uni then you got into sea fishing alot you need to get back on the rivers ive watched 1 to 99.1 of your videos lol even when you went on holliday god you growing big though

Bloody hell thats a long time mate, really appreciate it :). Yeah I'm at Scarborough mate studying Ecology. Scary how quick the time goes. What year are you in now then mate? Will try and fish the rivers as much as I can though mate, with the recent rain it has been a bit tricky as of late.

fenlandfisherman i know but it wasent before december raining lol did you go back to your parents for xmas thats how come you got on the drains? Ecology as in river life or as in the weather? I knew u was gunna be a brainy one but im intrigued and want you to tell me abit about what you study in eco and what job you expect from it? Yeah must of been what 4 years now watching your stuff i thought 2 but time seems to off flown i done buisness im now well i was in the exchange im now on forex trading and trying to build a algo to do the work for me lool what do you have to learn and study in eco for exams and when you leave for will be your job? (told u im nosey more intrigued tho) lol

jayzee Sorry for the late reply. Yeah was back home for christmas mate, and I'm pushing my degree more towards avian ecology mate, so studying how birds behave/use their habitats. And in terms of Jobs I am looking at going into research mate, so will need a PhD first. And yes 4 years simply flies by. Cheers George

fenlandfisherman can i just ask though george what is the job title? Job description? As in you go our looking at bird habitats and the species and numbers but who or what pays for that line of work unless your bill oddie or on the tv? Or go to america or a lecturer or work at museam i dont know how looking at birds pays the bills can i be nosey again and ask what does that sort of work pay for salary? Thnks
