Thanks man. I just regret putting that stuff in, she was sweet as a nut before I put the Sea Foam in! Hopefully we'll get back to how she was before soon.

@headrace4863 Just another quick update - bike has now stopped running again 😂 I drained the carbs as suggested and once back together it started giving these impressive backfires, and now just wont start. I'm thinking I may have fouled the plugs with that Sea Foam mixture so I've ordered new plugs and I'm going to do an oil change and put a new air filter in while I'm at it. It's all a learning experience eh!

@@thomascharnock oh dear… poor thing really isn’t happy with that seafoam is it. I think you may need to drain the ‘tank as well as it sounds like it’s all sat at the bottom. Best way to drain it fully is remove the fuel tap unit and get every last bit out. There’s 2 filters inboard of the ‘tank also, to get to those you’ll just need to pop the hoses out which sit towards the rear of the tank, underneath. I wonder if you’ve got water in the fuel tank as well somehow…

@@headrace4863 Thanks mate - I'm just going to put some time aside at the weekend and just get all the fairings off and just spend the entire afternoon on it. Can't believe I undid all your work with one stupid mistake. I'm determined to get it running sweet again if it kills me. You'll see Big Zed on the roads again, you have my word!

Absolutley superb machine - if you do get one just don't do what I did and try to improve perfection!

Im sure you know not to run any carb bike on e10. I understand that Esso super unleaded e5 is good as it contains a minimal amount of ethanol.

Hi Alan, no I never use E10 in my older bikes - this one included! Thanks for the tip on the Esso though, I've mainly been using BP super and the super unleaded from the supermarket
