Bigband Play Along - That's How We Roll (Gordon Goodwin's Big Phat Band)

Combining several takes, I came to this version which I'm fairly content with. I'm still learning to focus without over-concentrating. Flowing without thinking, but not too relaxed, cause I can be such a dreamer. And then I become sleepy/clumsy. Dexterity has never been my best quality. (I can't dance, for instance). So I have to keep my head in the game without overthinking. Nice challenge!
Although I'd hoped to nail at least one whole take, I think I can be proud of the progress I'm making. I'm growing in letting my instrument say what I feel and the stutters are disappearing. It just takes a lot of practice!
By the way: everyone in the bigband is playing one part at a time, but the drummer... has to play all parts at once. Do you think it's fair?! More importantly, do you think it's fun? Let me know what you think!
