Big Bang are considered Legends of Kpop because they've been around for 10 years and they literally don't give a shit anymore. They've been through so many controversies and scandals and hiatuses over the course of their career that they don't even care anymore. They do whatever the hell they want and their fans still love and respect them. They're legends for a reason, kpop wouldn't be what it is without them. Big Bang along with Super Junior and the other senior groups that have been around for a long time paved the way for kpop as it is now. I recommend FXXK IT by Big Bang, it was their last comeback as 5 members before TOP went in the military and all of the things that have happened since then.

Big Bang are the kings of KPOP. They debuted in Korea in 2006, and have been at the top for 13 yrs already. I know you like BTS, and in fact they are the biggest fanboys of Big Bang. They go to their concerts even to this day. They grew up listening to Big Bang, and a few BTS members said they became a singer bcz of Big Bang. They are sort of like the idols of all the current KPOP boybands. Gdragon and Taeyang in BB have established themselves as successful solo artists as well. You should definitely check out their solo tracks as well

I hope you saw the links I sent you on twitter showing you what kind of music and choreo was in Kpop when big bang came out in 2008 and what Big Bang put out when they first started and how they changed kpop. I didn't remember until I started looking at the old videos again, they all used to dance more - ah well. I forgot TOP knew how to dance haha They definitely are the kings of kpop and there is def a reason why most of BTS are fans of them. What is a little disappointing about new comers to kpop is I think it'll be hard for them to understand Big Bang's impact because they didn't see how things were and how things changed every time Big Bang released a record.

Jennifer Holloway yeah I agree! I mean I only got into kpop in like April or something because of bts but now I'm stanning like 20 different groups :D and I definitely see how big bang are the Kings of kpop like they are just so iconic and I love them. I don't know how exactly they changed the kpop industry or something like that but I'm definitely a fan of them and I'm so thankful for everything they've done because they did pave the way for all the junior groups that are so popular now!

Jennifer Holloway you are so right about this and it's sad that it's true. I was into K-pop when Big Bang first came out and they blew up and paved the way for the new artist now. I love BTS and newer artists too but Big Bang is legendary.

BigBang is a 5 member Korean male Kpop group been together for 13 years and first three GDragon, TOP, & Taehyang are in their 30s now - Daesung (29) & Seungri (27)! There's two rappers and three vocals but they all do vocals! Members GDragon/GD - redhead (leader/vocals/main rapper) TOP - cowboy/astronaut (rapper) Taehyang - pink hair Daesung/DLite - brunette hair covering his eyes Seungri - blonde hair The woman on the chain with GD is a famous choreographer Parris Geobel - she's choreographed this!
