Big Bang is literally the blueprint for most of the kpop groups today. Their leader GD (the guy with red hair), writes and produces most of their songs and not until recently, he was the most credited idol with the most copyrights to his name. He is also known as “the idol of idols”, given that many idols have cited him as an influence & his work transcends beyond music and into fashion as well. 4/5 members went for military enlistment and was officially discharged in 2019, and they were expected to perform at Coachella following BP but unfortunately Covid happened. Wow another new BIGBANG reactors. Interesting! I'll explain a few things about them. So they debuted in 2006. The main basic things why they're called kings and legends are because their music genre is so different, versatile, and unique. G-dragon, their leader, is the main producer for the band. Also their live performances are way more better than MVs because they have strong vocals character, stage attitude and they always use live band too. (Reactors usually react to their live perfs) To light up a little question about Bang Bang Bang MV which there's scene of a chained woman, it's Paris Goebel, she's a world class dancer who made that choreography, she's also the one who appeared and made the choreo for Justin Bieber's Sorry. Anyways, Paris and G-dragon were chained to each other if you take a look a bit closer G-Dragon had his neck chained too. Thanks for reacting! They’re called legends of Kpop b4 the biggest groups of now, they were the Kings, u could say. Not only were they successful as a group but their solo careers r also very successful! They’re also super popular in Japan! Also u know how most of the songs have that iconic prechorus build up & that drop that starts off the chorus? They made that popular! Ofc there were songs that did that b4 them but they made it iconic & started the trend! At first when they debut they weren’t that popular but after they released the song “Lies” after a few years, S. Korea loved that song so much that the song shot Bigbang up straight to the top as the “Kings” of 2nd generation Kpop! Many idols idolize them and see them as their role models! Also their fandom name is VIP, they debut on I think 2006 and their leader, G-Dragon produced and wrote most of their iconic hits! I definitely recommend reacting to their entire MADE album of which all of the songs have M/Vs!

In my opinion , the one thing that truly TRULY distinct bigbang from any other kpop grps, is the fact that really, they don’t give a fck. Sad songs when they’re sad, hype songs when they felt the world needs an extra kick of fun, meaningful and mature, wedding songs, farewell songs - you name it. They rarely rode on trends cuz most of the time they made it. Highly influenced by the 00’s west music and fashion, taking it home and make it suitable for the asian tastebuds. But they never shy away from admitting and paying homage to that. And I don’t think there’s a need to try to understand their music videos, they never put emphasis on ppl having to decode them. They showed what they wanted to show with the littlest filters bcs they always wanted ppl to pay more attention to the songs and enjoy it or relate to it. You see what you see and others are props.

Finally the KINGS OF KPOP ...🤘🔥🔥 They are also from YG (Blackpink's company) in fact they are the one who build up YG from small to a big company... I would say at least 90% of things in kpop industry right now are introduced/started by YG and BIGBANG ...They debuted in 2006 since then they are making history in kpop... They are the idols of idols, I'm not exaggerating when I say more than half of the kpop groups debuted after them are inspired by them They are the first-ever kpop idol group to have rappers, first-ever kpop idol group to write and produced their own songs before them and YG in kpop the kpop idols groups songs weren't produced by themselves, they introduced OFFICIAL FANDOM LIGHTSITICKS, FANDOM NAME, etc. They are the trendsetters and barrier breakers in KPOP they DGAF about the typical kpop rules they just do on their own and that's why many media houses and haters always try to make false allegations against YG Entertainment...There are many things about YG and Bigbang but I will comment in some other Bigbang videos in the future... Now coming to the members: 1st Guy is TAEYANG, he is the main vocalist and main dancer of the group. 2nd Guy is T.O.P, he is the lead rapper and sometimes vocalist of the group.. He is the first-ever underground rapper to be debuted in an idol group in the history of kpop. 3rd Guy is Seungri, he is the lead dancer, vocalist, and maknae(youngest) in the group. But he left the group in 2019 due to a big scandal in korea which he actually wasn't part of but Media made him the scapegoat of the scandal to save some shitty high profile people. 4th Guy is G-Dragon. he is the leader, main rapper, and vocalist of the group, until 2020 he was the no. 1 copyright owner (royalty earner) in Kpop (obviously his rank was pushed down bcoz BIGBANG has released any music since 2016 due to their military enlistment they are all discharged now but haven't comeback yet supposed to comeback at COACHELLA 2020 but the festival was canceled). He also has songs with Jennie and Rosé from Blackpink (it was before the debut of Blackpink he heard their voices while he was passing by the practice rooms then he asked the head of YG that he wanted them to be part in his songs)... 5th guy is Daesung, he is the lead vocalist of the group....
